i just want to ask..
does anyone volunteer to make overclocking demonstration at my Electronic Sports Championship 2009 on 7&8 March 09 at Universiti Teknologi petronas(UTP)?that's mean i need someone who professional in overclocking.i do not know how much type of overclocking.so he can start from basic overclocking to the higher lever overclocking.so far,we do not supply the hardware because we do not know what kind of hardware that the person who want to do the overclocking demonstration.if "hardware" mean one computer.we could supply it.

I guess they'll provide it. Because that E-Sports even is quite big, all famous, infamous CS 1.6, DotA teams are joining that competition. And the prize tak main main punya. But the location kinda bad though...

i do not know how the process for overclocking..
so, as this is the 1st event in my university,we better looking for someone that can do the demonstration about how to overclock their computer.
the only i know is to overclock the processor to get higher GHz..
sorry that im really do not know about overclocking..
so,from the event,someone can show to the student(mostly) how to do the overclocking and what is overclocking is about..
the it fair is our side event.
our main event is game competition..
we got dota and cs 1.6
we also got computer supplier from computer wars.
got sponsor for the license and many more.

TS, why not u find an overclocker within ur university..

i know a forumer allenultra. his fr ur university.. try ask him.

maybe he also got some friend. save ur cost oo..

Firstly,TS,u have to tell us,what thing u wanna overclock?

Processor?
Ram?
Display Card?

and try to find some sponsor and let us know what hardwares will be overclocked,i think Perak will have some overclockers too.

Ok, 1st of all, just a reminder to TS, it would be better to remove all the pictures of OC Event, Lanparty and computer pictures in your website, or else, somebody might sue you(unless permission had been given by respected party)

2nd, come up with your proposal for the overclocking event.Give me your email,I'll give a sample of proposal of last year OC Showcase at IIUM by Gigabyte and K.O.C.

3rd, try to set your target for the event ( Extreme OC Showcase, OC for noobies or etc.. )

the event is about IT fair..so, we just reserve 2 booth for overclocking.this event is about all about overclocking..it just demonstration of overclocking and to give information to the student how the correct way to overclock.

the main event is about electronic games.IT fair is side event.so, our target is computer gamers or computer nerd.many student want do try to overclock their pc.so with this demonstration, it give opportunity to student to learn about overclock in a right place.our target is overclock for dummies..

Hardware provided? And why have an pcing contest in the first place?

dude, seriously, i graduated from there, and last time i was there, there were tonnes of overclockers. u know la, petronas scholarship, all spend money on PC hardware

anyhow, pm me the complete details (like where the OCer can stay while being there) and everything else. i might be able to get in touch with some ppl.

so far, the hardware are not provided..we still try to find sponsor the this event
there will be case modding competition,but the event for student in utp..

why not u try to get sponsor from utp vendor. i mean the contractor la..as i know a lot of vendor there..last time i hav fren working there..from what i see there are lots of overclockers & computer enthusiasts but u hav to find them coz normally they are 'low profile' ppl..until now some of my fren still working there..
