Hi all,

I am new to the forum, just bought my wii (korean mod. version) about 1 month ago.

Just wondering whether the Wii (korean modified version) can play all games, include ntsc,pal format ?

I have problem in loading some games like mario & sonic olympic (ntsc) , rayman (pal), etc.. Please note that my machine can load some ntsc and pal games but not these few games as i mention above. Also I am sure it's not the cd problem as it can be loaded using my fren's Wii (older US modified version).

Any idea??

I also own a Koren Wii (modded to include the Backup Launcher 0.3 Gamma). Was hoping I can discuss with you on the capabilities of this version (e.g. game regions compatibility, etc).

I hope u guys know that LYN does not permit discussion on any jack sparrow related issue openly. U guys can discuss it via personal message though.

as for kk83 question, yes..it is related to ur mod chip n oso ur wii version.

To be fair this thread so far has only touched on region locking issue on the Wii without any piracy related discussion whatsoever. But if there're something more to discuss on region locking, please use the pinned thread.
