Anybody tried playing Vanguard on Insanity yet? I read in the bioware forums although it can be a challenge, it is also fun if you do it right... tongue.gif

Just want some opinions? biggrin.gif

Is the DLC out yet?

If so, I probably just get it as soon as it is released and blast it thru quickly.

When you orbit a planet that has a mission, EDI will tell you that an Anomaly was detected (Its also shown in your scanner report on the right).

When scanning, just follow the white line on your scanner and it will point you to the anomaly (Which is a mission).

Basically, you know some of the Loyalty/Recruitment missions that require you to scan the planet first before starting? (Like Zaeed, Jack's and Jacob's) Its pretty much the same thing.

Just to add something here, there are some upgrades only available on these N7 missions.. On normal difficuilty, it is still ok to miss those upgrades.. For on insanity, every upgrade counts.. smile.gif

If you are really lazy, here is a good guide: http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Assignments smile.gif

Btw, ME2 for me have been bug free so far smile.gif

Lucky you,

I got the stuck in somewhere bug every now and then. Always seem to be the same areas.

Randomly CTDs.

Original game, original OS.
*
U mean the collision detection bug that floats you to the top? rclxub.gif

I got that too.. blush.gif But I learn to be careful after a few times...

Ya. it is still a problem that has yet to be solved.. Maybe won't be solved since they might have to make major changes to the physics engine.. sad.gif

But it is not a deal breaker for me rolleyes.gif

New Bioware game??

Or another DLC?

The countdown is on the Bioware Homepage plus the homepage for DA:O & ME2...

I think whatever it is is not exclusive to ME only..

Cross game DLC like the blood dragon armor again? rclxm9.gif

Just finish the Firewalker DLC in one sitting last night (~ 60 mins)

For a freebie, I would say the content was above average.

The missions were varied enough to keep the whole experience fresh.

My only complains are the radar is missing (not a big deal) & no health bar for the Hammerhead (there are visual clues)

Oddly, it reminds me of crash bandicoot & sonic..~~ laugh.gif

Load ur savegame and check your unread messages. You will receive an email mentioning the Hammerhead project.

Or

Just go to the galaxy map and you will see the new Firewalker missions.

Hmm will I be able to enjoy ME2 without purchasing the DLCs? How much do they cost btw?
*
No harm playing without the DLCs...

but with all the DLCs u get

- 1 new companion
- New weapons and armors
- New research upgrades
- New missions

U need a total of 1440 points to purchase all the DLCs, which would cost around USD20 for 1600 points

But u can skip the Equalizer Pack & Alternate Appearance Pack 1 IMO.... smile.gif

I tried it for 30mins. The story didn't really excited me like Shadow Broker or Overlord. Shadow Broker, I couldn't stop playing. Even ME1's Bring Down the Sky was more interesting.

Shadow Broker was like a blockbuster. The Arrival feels so amateurish when compared to it. Script also feels very different.

Agreed... feels like a final money grab by Bioware/EA for the ME2 franchise

I tot they will have more character development for Admiral Hackett...

Nor does it contribute more lore to the ME universe....

But it turns out to be like any standard N7 side mission.

And the saddest part of all....

Can I play all the DLCs before the final mission?

I think I'll just play from there on.

Not if you want the best outcome..
