Since you have installed the pirated ME, onto your hdd - once steam has created your local cache on your pc in the steamapps folder, you should be able to copy the pirated folder into your steamapps folder (please don't copy the crack file). Steam will then check your files (you may have to verify the integrity of the files) and just download your missing files and any other files that need to be updated. I've used that method before when i didn't want to wait 3 days to dl a legit copy on steam or for changing a retail copy to steam.

Install the game (somewhere) 2. Backup the installation folder to a separate location 3. Uninstall the game 4. Start the Steam download/installation of the game 5. Pause the download once it's started (some people like to let it get to 1-2%) 6. Exit Steam once you've paused the download 7. Copy the backup over the folder in \Steam\steamapps\common\ 8. Restart Steam 9. Go to My Games 10. Right-click on the game, click on Properties, then Local files 11. Click Verify integrity of game cache... 12. Let this finish, and unpause the download once it's done if verification didn't already steam automatically updates games for you. If it's at 100% then you should have the gamefiles for 1.02. Besides, retail for standard edition is far cheaper than on steam and retail for CE is at least the same price as steam but with arguably more "value". I hope this thread does not degenerate into a thread about free t-shirts and posters like the DA:O one.

If you've lost your manual you can google for POST errors. Once you've diagnosed the problem it's just the simple problem of replacing the mobo, gc or memory.. good luck

It's game breaking for me which means i have to save often which kinda breaks the immersion of the game and adds to the frustration. Still managed to complete the game with my adept-paragon-SHEpard though.

It's his own fault for not wanting to implant the control chip in the first place. He spends most of the game manipulating her after all - by giving her missions with incomplete info that force you to make moral choices you really shouldn't have. yep he's a real ass. The heroes didn't have to deal with all this crap when recruiting in akira kurosawa's seven samurai. You don't know what the geth will be like in the ME3 - they did absorb the consciousness and memories of the heretics after all. If you did really believe that the geths had a soul then surely they would deserve a shit at redemption. edit: this page is ridiculous - someone should create a ME2 spoiler thread.
