Anyone here play Mass Effect 2 with PC ah ..


I dont know why at a certain planet i kept getting the black screen of death..

what rig you using? i saw alot of people complaining at bioware forum using the same rig as mine some diff facing the same problem as me..


and all is ORI


btw... pirated copy is the exact same copy from the ori... just that they changed the activation code only

Oh yea...


I set all the settings to default including the AA and everything else... now the game works fine...


Before that my character often get stuck walking into certain places [especialy conners] and the game crashed twice [black screen.. forced restart] in my latest mission that i was about to gave up one the game... when i check the bioware forum.. it seems that some people had the same problem as me ...

The bioware tech says they are looking into the problem ... but dont know when will the fix be released..




But i dint know the problem could be settle by just setting all to default ... [earlier i set everything to the max with everything on] .... must be some issue with the graphic card..


by the way ... pirated games are the exact copy of the original game ... just that it does not used the original activation .... so whenever a pirated game is succesfully installed ... the following problem they face would be the same as the one who got it originaly..


Im not saying that people should get pirated games.... but just a general knowledge about it to share..

And my statement DOES holds true .... but i got to admit it had some glitches and freeze a few times [nothing too serious that would prevent you from completing the main storyline] ... Which is also due to the Game itself as they had release a patch a week later or so... But i dint bothered to update the patch as im still able to finished the whole game... except for the side quest and riddles ..


It's pretty much based on your luck from where you got the game from or where you downloaded it from .... like they say "Pandai pandai sendiri"


By the way, I trust the odds of the person "posting" the problem and based on thier country tag... it's judge able if hes using ori or not [Base on the "odds" of course]



Note : No one wants to play pirated gaming if they had the choice.... Pirated gaming comes with a very HIGH risk that would infect your computer with virus / have to suffer long and slow downloading time / the odds of downloading the wrong or fake game is there and many more etc...

The main reason people use pirated games is also because they "cant" afford the original games ... especialy in Malaysia ...
Im not being stereotypical but as a norm.. everyone knows that westerners have high standerds of living [1 to 1 earning yet the amount of cost for games are lot cheaper ] if the games cost RM50 i would buy a chunk of games like how they did... without going too indebt on this issue..

i just want to say "most" malaysian cant do what the westerners do ... buying huge chunk of games and doesnt mind if the game sucks or not...

Most people would buy ori if the had the chance.. trust me... I buy most of the ori games that i could "confirmed" its worth playing ... Tittles like GTA IV / Burnout Paradise / franchises games etc...

im not a hard core gamer... i only play the specific "popular" tittles .. but those that i come to know of and based on my personal knowledge towards the game .. i would buy it..

but those "highly" rated titles that ive never heard of or out of my taste ... i might try it out with pirated 1st to avoid wasting my money on it..


Im currently playing ME2 *ahem version ... and after setting all to default settings i had no trouble with the game..

I never played ME1 before so im not too confident on buying ME2 since the DRAGON AGE is a total let down to me yet the hyped fro the game was just too immersive ..


I've got to say that ME2 is well worth the money .... the graphic were awesome and the storyline was addictive...and i cant wait to finished with my soldier class and move on to the next

But it lacks something .... its a RPG game but it doesn't have the RPG element towards it ... they dont have the typical "Leveling" "skill point" system [typical skill point system i mean]... thats abit of a downfall for me since im quite a fan for RPG games especialy for tittles like Final Fantasy.. too bad they dont release it for the PC anymore..

Looking forward to the third installment for the game... will buy the game XD

Is it just me or ... sheperd seems to be lacking in physical stamina?


He always run out of breath after sprinting in a very short distance... and i mean "very" short [approximately 2 floors]

Unlike one of our LYN member here that could jog from KLCC to Beijing and thats only 4,080km through walking path .... [stated by him that he could jog 5,000km a day]

Btw... the disruptive ammo doesn't seem to be any effective although at Level 3 .... seems like theres no significant difference from normal shot..

I maxed Combat mastery and it also doesnt seem to show any sign that i had become more powerful

I tried reset it and maxed out Adrenaline with the 70% time thingy option ... it states that time almost stand still or something..

But in combat it's just like having level 1 adrenaline ....

Quick question .... what does ME1 imports to ME2??

Do they import leveling? Skills? characters??

How does it affect ME2 in anyway??
