|
Ah crap... Another expensive CE (Not surprising after DA)...
But I do have a nice RM50 voucher now (Sadly just about 2200 points shy of another)...
But it is a lot of money...
But its CE is a lot more attractive than the CE for DA...
But I make it a point never to spend more than 200 on a single game...
But I did save all that money from missing out during the Christmas sales...
But... Ah screw it... I'm getting it.

QUOTE(verx @ Jan 7 2010, 12:38 PM) I want to know the answer to this as well. I have ME on steam. Will i be able to port over to retail version? I'm guessing it'll just check your save game since ME didn't have online integration like DA does, so yeah it should work ok for you guys. This post has been edited by H@H@: Jan 7 2010, 12:59 PM

QUOTE(Edison83 @ Jan 7 2010, 02:02 PM) if ME2 got a better facial, i think i gonna restart a new character, ME1 facial look aweful... plus female on ME with heavy armor look like boobsless.... I don't know if I've got the nostalgia bug, but I at the time, ME1's facial expressions were incredible and I dare say they look far better than in DA (Plus, they actually look like they're shouting)

QUOTE(marcus1538 @ Jan 7 2010, 04:55 PM) well IMO thats not a fair comparison, since DA was in development a llooooooooooong time before ME came out. DA's greatest strength is the party combat. It's more tactical compared to most J/W RPGs out now. Also... DA's release of DLC is more frequent than ME... I don't know whether thats a good thing or not rofl Hold your horses there dude, I never said DA was bad, just that its facial animations were subpar compared to ME's (Seriously, its like no one in DA can open their mouths large enough for anything but their tongues to fit through). The most jarring example? The yawnings... Damn, they looked horrible... Its like the characters are blowing bubbles but a yawn sound comes out.

QUOTE(Aggroboy @ Jan 8 2010, 02:28 PM) Doesn't look like ME2 CE has any extra mission content, so I can safely pass and get the normal edition. Money has to be saved for Avater blu-ray! QUOTE * 48-page hardcover art book * Limited edition Mass Effect Redemption comic book * * Exclusive in-game Collectors' Edition weapon and armor * Bonus DVD with behind-the-scenes and making-of videos * Limited edition Cerberus Network card granting access to bonus content That sounds like extra mission content to me.

QUOTE(Aggroboy @ Jan 8 2010, 02:56 PM) Yah meh? They said bonus content like "armor and items" wor. QUOTE * 48-page hardcover art book * Limited edition Mass Effect Redemption comic book * Exclusive in-game Collectors' Edition weapon and armor * Bonus DVD with behind-the-scenes and making-of videos * Limited edition Cerberus Network card granting access to bonus content I don't think its worth mentioning twice.

QUOTE(Aggroboy @ Jan 8 2010, 03:00 PM) So... means no new missions gua Don't poison me like this lol Duuuuuude, What I meant was, the "bonus content" is most likely new missions and not armour and weapons (Which was mentioned earlier)... otherwise they wouldn't have bothered mentioning it.

QUOTE(Kidicarus @ Jan 8 2010, 03:07 PM) bonus content seems underwhelming for me. Don't really need the extra clutter of an extra box which doesnt fit nicely into my rows of game dvd boxes. I imagine there will be an intergalactic space vendor selling the extra bonus content ala DA:O I'd be very conflicted if they used Joker to "peddle" it. "Ok there Captain, heading out to <some star system>. Before we head out, we got a 'distress signal' from <DLC system>, would you like to check that out instead? Pretty please captain?"

QUOTE(soul_fly9900 @ Jan 11 2010, 04:39 PM) You got anything urgent to use money in between the 4 days before the game release? The pre-order finished on 22 Jan, the game comes out on 26 Jan. Nothing to lose if you pay earlier because you're still paying the same amount anyway even after the pre-order. Just try to get the most out of what you pay . But if you anything urget in between that, than of course RL should take priority Salary comes in on 25th.

QUOTE(soul_fly9900 @ Jan 11 2010, 05:00 PM) Huah, tough decision, it's either your tummy or the game hehe. If it were me I would also be thinking of my food . No big loss if you pay later because it's just in-game item, you still get the physical bonuses which I think is more delightful for your eyes to see . But still early, you can still decide by 21st, who knows if you could save enough by that time to get through the 3 days before your next paycheck right. Yeah, that's kinda what I had in mind... But its always looks easier when in planing compared to execution. Added on January 11, 2010, 5:03 pmQUOTE(Aggroboy @ Jan 11 2010, 05:02 PM) Does CE ever really run out of supply Yes, I almost missed out on the NWN2 CE. It was only like RM 20-30 more expensive and it came with the uber awesome D&D CRPG handbook. That alone was well worth it.

I didn't mind the Mass Effect activation limit. It was like 5 and I didn't need the disc. This reminds me... need to reinstall that back to get into the groove again... after I finish off DA... after I get some time...

I'm guessing they're not bothering this time since they're going to incorporate the Bioware Social Network into it (Like with DA)... which is kinda like DRM anyway.

Screw the assault rifles... It was either the shotgun or sniper rifle. The former because it works great with lift and the rockets are awesome and for the latter, is that it gives you range and great DPS

QUOTE(secondrate @ Jan 12 2010, 10:34 AM) It says activation on up to 5 computers. I wonder, can I use my Mass Effect and install it on a friend's computer? Original copy and all. I wanted to install Dragon Age using my keys too. Actually, yes you can... That's one of the best things about limited activations, you can use multiple copies at the same time (Up to 5 that is)
