I believe that I've been conned by this Indian guy named Venkateswara.

Here's the story.
Just now morning i was survey-ing some Sony PSP Slim/2000 in Mudah.my and i saw this ad : (http://www.mudah.my/psp-slim-black-johore-1687961.htm?ca=12_s). I'm interested with his PSP so i msg-ed him about the psp, here goes the conversation between me and him VIA SMS.

Me : Saw your ads regarding black psp slim in mudah.my and wonder if its still available for sale? Is the firmware version 5.04 m33?
Vicky : Yup avail. And that is the firmware. Where r u?
Me : Ok but is it possible to COD in Selangor if you're traveling somewhere here?
Vicky : Impossible. If courier posible. If u want, u bank in and i courier to u.
Me : Oh okay, whats your best price? and can u post it by today before 2pm?
Vicky : RM450. Yup can courier if u able to bank in. No worries.
Me : Then ill bank in soon, can give me your details? if possible your ic as well.
Vicky : 114030098437 maybank.

791224015825. After bank in sms me ur full address.
Me : Done, money transfered. Have u checked?
Vicky : The money should be in since u've done the transaction. Give me your address.
Me : (provided him my full address and name)
Vicky : Ok got it.

Then i thought he already posted it, so i sms-ed him at 3pm and ask for the item's tracking number but he didnt reply.
I straight called him and surprisingly, he picked up but he said "Nanti saya sms, sekarang ada meeting la" that's all.
I assumed he was bz working or smtg.

So i waited till 7pm, sent another msg to ask whether he received my sms earliered and i tried calling him again. Unfortunately, he refused reply nor to pick up this time.
Again i called at 8pm, same thing, 9pm, 9.30pm, 9.45pm. ALL calls and smses being ignored.

I was about to give up, i ask help from a friend of mine who works in a Celcom company to trace this guy's phone number.
Btw, he sms me using this number 60194178522. After a few minutes, my friend said the owner of this number was a malay guy and the details are :

965, Jalan Kolam 6, Perak

I was like what the fooooook!
But he gave me the a/c no was an Indian guy.

and i read all the whole forum regarding frauds but it seems like there's no solution or chances to get the money back.
How sad-dening.

At the same time, i blieve he gave me the fake IC as well =(
Is it possible for me to check or trace info's if i got someone's IC?

I'm not sure if he registered under that name as well. But just be aware of that name, number and acc number.
So far i did not do any reports yet except in mudah.my.

Only practice COD in Mudah.com.my

afaik Mudah.com is the most risky place to deal since it don't have seller info like lelong or ebay..and they don't have seller rating as well..So the best way is COD. My bro have deal with Mudah seller cost around RM6xx but so far so good

well ppl don really google or search for names/bank account/hp number, they just blindly bank in, if u did the steps mentioned, probably will save u 450bucks

another thing is 450 for a psp slim is too good to be true. Try selling a psp slim @ 450 in LYN. Guarantee gone in a few hours

sjn hassan : True, i tried to make a selling ads in mudah.my, its so simple. No registration needed, just a name, email, contact number and item description that's all.

regarding ur case...did ur actually beware of the account holder name? u should look at the name also when bank in, so in this case, look like u r too rushing depositing money for the good...

sms him back his name, ic and addresses
tell him if he doesnt send the item or refund the money you will log a report
give him 2 days to send, otherwise proceed with report
please provide the recipt when u bank in to the police
let police do their job =)

I dont think police can do much help.

happymior : I did saw the name. He said his name was Venkateswara so does the bank account number info showed. About the rush thinggy, maybe yeah


codex : I do not have his REAL IC or address. The address(PERAK) and full name(ZULHELMI) i mentioned above was the owner for the phone number. Maybe he steals or rob people's phone and used it as his cell phone number so that people might not be able to track him with the number. I message him more than u think and what i get is a decreased in my credit balance LOL.


chicaman : yes i agree with you. Nothing much they can do as i read all the fraud cases in the forums. But if they cant do anything until 1 day, the case is gonna be increase and more people intend to fraud since there's no solution for it. No doubt, COD is the best dealing method if we're dealing with an unknown seller.

i thought of dealing with this guy before, but i think he is cheating me saying the psp is slim so i gave up the trade. no wonder he kept on pushing me to buy the stupid psp. hope this guy get his punishment when time come. gd luck.
