Dude, some questions
1. When can you confirm that there'll be arcade sticks provided for your PS3 consoles? Some of us own xbox360 arcade sticks instead which can't be used for this 2. When is the closing date for registration?

Well we are trying hard to get the STICKS as most of it was sold out. And...I am posting this tread here as we used to grow up playing PS ( when tak ade xbox time ) SO practically, everyone remembers the feeling using ps3 controllers. However, you may borrow the ps3 sticks from other contestant...Just try asking....I will be the emcee and I will try to help you guys get the sticks.

Any chance of seeing the schedule of the event? Won't be joining but will just be recording the event. unless... the event is taking place in the cinema hall then that'll be a problem...

Schedule will be out tonight as we are finalizing it. The finals will not be in the cinema hall as we want more people to see it. Cinema hall is for contestant to try out a few rounds before the Street Fighter Legend Of Chun Li begins.
Hope there will be some Xbox360 gamers taking part too...

I would have joined, but the entrance fee is too high for me to get raped in public. I know the cost is to cover the movie tickets, but... like I mentioned before. The movie probably SUCKS!!!
SUCKS BAD!

I'm still over the fence about joining, simply because there might not be arcade sticks for play.

360 Left stick position are placed better, easier to do special moves++.
But walao, arcade stick more geng, can easily do combo, 6 buttons.
Do ultra combo on controller, all three kick/punch quite hard..

Couldn't agree more...360's controller feels more comfortable. I should be there to witness the event and learn some skills to improve my game ^^

Ok guys...Here is what I thought.
360 controller feels better...but they are designed for fps most of the time and ps3 controllers are much more a fighting game control compared to fps. Practically we cant have both and I have both 360 and ps3 for sf4 and I have to say, ps3 is faster. Maybe I am not using the Analog. Using the cross pad. But for many people, the cross pad is pain.
Well, even not taking part, please do drop by ok? And if the tourney is good...who knows, I might organize one for xbox players too.
Alan
Added on February 26, 2009, 11:30 pmOh if you guys want to join for the movie...you may purchase tickets from us at rm 10 and get goodie bags too.
