tweaking consoles it not n00b job ok... yeah the game may seems gay and stuff... but its fun and I don't do it all the time coz it will get boring after some time


i have no idea why you guys here are so anti garena...
garena is just a server or a facility to bring everyone all around world together to play some game.
its a facility provided for us to use and it's FREE

yeah, some Cyber Cafe may have some good PC and faster network compared to garena...
but what the heck?? 2 bucks every hour and if i were to spend 5 hours playing in Cyber Cafe i will spend 10 ringgit everyday. so basically im saving RM3650+/- every year

also dont expect me to walk back home in 3am in the morning just to play COD4 because garena can help me reduce the walking and save me RM2 per hour


here's a tip..
if you want a good game in Garena... join some server that is made by clans like [IS], [M] and etc etc
kick or ban those ppl that you suspect they hack... thats all

Normal server like servers that are actually hosted by providers. Over the internet. Garena servers lag alot as it is user hosted.

Sorry to say but Garena is a noob serve. That's what people plays garena made it be. I hardly heard any Garena team joining any major competition hosted in Malaysia. Is there any "good" team in Garena? The team from garena wanted to challenge us and ended up disbanding their whole team. I wonder what happened.

Ok good advice for you. Go to CoD4 mutiplayer WITHOUT THE UBER GARENA, move the source from Local to Favorite, then type new favorite 202.71.97.208:28960. THEN BOOOM!!!! APPEAR THE SERVER THAT PROVIDED BY NARAKKA AND THE NAME IS NARAKKA [MALAYSIA]!!! WOOO!!!!

go to pinned thread, see CoD4 local server, and add those servers and train more there. You'll see the reason people here hate Garena, actually not hate la, because some people there really retarded.

P.S some of us ain't LAN player, most of us are ONLINE player with registered original CoD4.

no offense to garena la...just that player hosted server sure lag one...u need a proper server to host cod4...in fact all FPS games must have a dedicated server so to avoid having uber high ping and delay shots when u fire a bullet...unless its LAN in cc then it wont lag lor

well... i guess im the only exception...
coz i has a average 3mbps line with 10ping tested from speedtest.net
im curerntly in MMU CyberJaya... hehee
so my server is kinda lag free except for a few ppl

i had seen my line spike up to 30mbps before but normally it stables between 3mbps to 10mbps

Well, not for L4D since the maximum players are 8 only. That still doesn't mean the host does not need to have a good internet connection though.
