I have a gw-us54mini2g and I was wondering can I connect my wii to wifi even though I have a wired connection or do I need to buy the wifi connector?

If you mean setting up your computer as a WiFi AP/router and then connecting the Wii to it, the website say yes, you can

You don't need a wireless router, because the key idea here is to turn the planex dongle and the computer into one. The software supplied with the planex should cater to that. Poke around in the supplied software.

go to the official website and download the latest firmware update.. the default have bug.. sometimes can and cant connect. one word. it gets pretty hot after awhile. can also used to connect to PS3. |

before this i used planex Us54mini2g..but it kinda slow for online.
