The thing I hate the most about public transport is:

1. LRT - Sometimes, if it breaks down, you're in big trouble, and recently Putra is having numerous service interruption.
2. Taxi - Blood-sucking drivers + Some drivers don't want to fetch you at all, even though you're at the heart of the city,

The opinions voiced from the letter is so damn f*cking true.

The recent service interruption was on this Thursday, 19/2/2009. Can you imagine, the train, each round 8 mins during the rush hour? I had been queuing up for 30 mins, and waited for 3 rounds, but yet to get into the train. The downtime is really wasting our time and killing our mood to work, for crying out loud.

That one i know, personally i was waiting at Kelana Jaya station for 1 hour too due to system breakdown...

Anyway, now Rapid KL is changing the electrical system for KJ line to enable the new, longer train to operate sometime this year

But er, they shouldn't build LRT anyway, build MRT instead

But er, they shouldn't build any LRT anyway, they should improve their services first and iron out any issues.

What issue?

The LRT is poorly planned in the first place...

Like most things in Mareshia

Kelana Jaya line design is too insufficient, even with new 4 car train, it will still going to be congested....

As far as i know, the only solution, is to deploy new 4 car train which can increase its capacity to about 400,000 per day

KTM Komuter is much better in terms of "capacity"

Meh, I've taken LRT for more than 7 years (College + Work). I won't mind to take public transport if I my job nature doesn't require me to travel around, but, since I need to frequently go to customer sites (KL, Cyberjaya, Putrajaya, Damansara, TTDI, all the weird weird location) to do support, really need my own transportation.

Oh, yes! Really need that to pak toh... lol

Probably the Rapid KL management don't even know what "Preventive Maintenence" means:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Condition-bas...ive_maintenance

If everytime there is a breakdown and they are using the stamement "Unavoidable technical difficulties", they are either making themselves look stupid or making their technical staffs to appear incompetent to the public. It is as if the LRT system is so cryptic that no one from Rapid KL is able to solve the problem.

I think Wira is quite expensive in terms of maintenance, and the low body design? It doesn't make you feel secure especially when going through road bumps.

Saw the teaser advertisement on The Star...

The ad mentions...

- Steering audio switches (already exist in Proton of course)
- Overhead LCD + built in DVD with USB, SD and MMC port
- Front and rear air conditioning outlets
- 10 cup and bottle holders

Too tempted, i felt it might be better than Perodua MPV which will be launched soon....

Unavoidable technical difficulties is stupid, i agree....at least tell the truth....not only that, you notice that their vending machines also always ROSAK

Recently, they got big job advertisement for Rapid KL, they need about 350 bus drivers and in total including this, they need 1500 staffs...

However, Rapid Penang pawns Rapid KL for sure...

In 2010 or 2011, Puduraya maybe shutdown in part and shift to Bandar Tasik Selatan....

Next year, the new 5 trains for KTM Intercity will arrive from Korea biggrin.gif
