To sum it up, great graphics, beautiful environment, plenty of different modes, sleek menu and great gameplay.

I've got the game yesterday and it's been great so far!

I'm in the UK at the moment and thus I have the R2 copy. You can still purchase a DLC content from UK PSN with a credit card I believe.

Those two are too simulated in my opinion. Dirt 2 has a good balance between a sim and arcade racing which suits me very well. I don't really enjoy the trucks though haha.

Need for Speed: Shift is by far the better game IMO. There's just no comparison between the two. Don't get me wrong, DiRT looks great but it doesn't have the meat that NFS has in abundance.

Sometimes it's not the meat people wants. It's the taste.

Can't really compare NFS and Dirt 2 to be honest. I personally enjoy Dirt 2 due to the fact that I'm driving on dirt! Love the rich exotic locations.

Taste, scent, volume - it's plain better IMHO.

Well yeah arcadey v sim, but essentially between two racing games? I'll pick Shift any day over this. It's quite simply the best racing game I've played on the PS3, period.
