One of the Symbian S60 based smartphone from LG just announce on Mobile World Congress 2009.

The slider LG KT770 runs on Symbian S60 3rd edition UI and comes with FP2 preinstalled. It offers a 5 megapixel camera, a 2.8" WQVGA screen, and 3.5G with HSDPA connectivity. The internal memory will be 1 or 2 GB and is expandable through the microSD card slot.

More and more manufacture are producing Symbian phone nowdays... Is getting hot and hotter... This LG has a big LCD display too bad is running on Symbian S60 3rd edition instead of 5th edition...

there goes nokia. If symbian can be used by another brands. Nokia might start losing out in the market

too "nokia".. tho they are using S60, but i guess they can change the UI a little..?

Yep, just like Nokia 5800XM. The latest Samsung device, the OmniaHD is also using S60 5th Edition as its operating system.

i must say this phone really blows N82 far far away.
It has got all important features: Wifi, GPS, radio with RDS and a big screen.
i'll definitely keep a close eye on the launching price for this.

But LG phone's battery's standby/talk time base on my previous experience always bad, need to charge quite frequently compare to Nokia or Sony Ericsson with the similar spec.

Tired with symbian base phone from Nokia. Looking for something new laugh.gif

eventhough symbian runs thru other hp...normally it will lack of features that nokia have others dont have...believe me....Nokia still the best symbian device for all time biggrin.gif
