hey..guys i was jz tinkin..is there any1 that can teach me hw to change the pc case fans to usb? and also CCFL lights..have an idea on custom made cooling pad

u wont hav enuf power since usb only supply 10v.. fans using 12v... and ccfl hav inverter from 12v to XXv(not sure)... if invert from 10v.. sure will hav prob...

so to make it, u must do some electronic board..

Its not 10V but only 5V. Some 12v fan may run on 5V but at lower speed.
Thus it is still possible to run your case fan from the usb.
google it and you will get more result since many ppl have done it b4.

If you cut the fan's cables you will see two cables; red and black. What I did was get a usb cable that I'm no longer using, and connect the red cables together as well as for the black. For 12V, it will definitely run like nxfx said but at a lower speed.
