hmm...install soundproofing mat at the door, wheel arch, floor pan, front bonnet will reduce road noise alot...and since u sensitive on noise, i guess road noise is the most nosiest sound. So soundproof 2layers on the floor and change to better tyres like bridgestone turanza/michelin xm1/mvx8..this will reduce the road noise alot..

for the dashboard sound..as what u said, the sound came from the meter right?...try to take out and check. but dont try to take out the whole dashboard as it will give u more headache as more noises will appear..

jz my two cents icon_idea.gif

Hmm I thought sound proofing material that can reduce a little bit of vibration, so with just less vibration, the dashboard and "hard plastic" will also less vibrate and create less noise, or my concept is wrong?  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

YES..but the sound has to be from outside...if noise from the interior, no improvement...the meaning of soundproof is making ur car less noise and less vibration "WHEN U DRIVING"...like vibration from the engine/road...other than that like interior noises...remain the same.. biggrin.gif

Add: A stupid question
Is it possible that make our car as solid and comfort like Mercedes-Benz C Class? I'm not talking about the suspension comfort, it's "SOLID" and "SILENT" and "COMFORT".

laugh.gif ...add more layers of soundproof=soundproof the whole car. thumbup.gif ...solid?...yea..just the feel when u knock on the metal but not the metal itself...
