currently I'm using Celcom (RM 68) package but I'm thinking of changing to another operator. Just came back from DIGI & take some brochure

RM 66/ month for unlimited data

My questions  is :

What is the limit of the data per month. Celcom also said unlimited but after i used my 5GB/month, they capped my my download speed to 128kbps...

Any idea friends...??

Yup that seems to be the case.
RM58 discover package free quota is 3GB, with extra charges can use up to max ~8GB before being throttled.
RM108 explore package free quota is 10GB, with extra charges can use up to max 16GB before being throttled.
RM188 extreme package quota of 20GB is also it's max cap.

Overall, I like digi's strategy of maintaining enough bandwidth for everyone. I will be very please as long as I can get a stable and average speed broadband. Now if they'll only increase their 3G coverage fast enough...

I've got the RM128 plan.....the average speed i'm getting is around 4-5Mbps (based on speedtest.net).

Guys, why is the coverage map for broadband and 3G different? Both essentially the same right? My area is not covered under broadband map but covered under 3G map.

I had been using for 6 months ++
1 month the speed is over 1k kbps ~~
1st month speed test is 1.4 Mbps !! urs slow ald ... use less then 30min to download 170mb bleach anime
2nd month 800kbps still can hit up to 1k kbps if lucky still about 30-40mins
3rd month < 700kbps
4th month < 400kbps
5th month < 300kbps or keep on < 200kbps or even less then 120kbps
6th month < 100kbps ~.~''' take 2 hours to finish download 170mb bleach anime

(i rarely over download quota, 5th month just exceed it 1 day before new quota !!)

these is the problem I'm facing !!

the next month onward can drop to 0.07mbps or 0.01 ~.~''' for whole day !!
they receive my complain more then 10 for these 2 months !! i complain even at 12am !!

this one ald drop from these morning !! but consider better then couple of week before !! The Digi make me piff off ... Soon i will terminate it !!

my distance is less then 50m !! -71dBm signal strength ~

Best thing about the prepaid internet is you don't need to register. Just buy the simpack, put in the sim card and use straight away.

nope...there's no contract to it...u can get it for juz 1 month too..RM48.00..

when it ends?..no idea...but dun worry...there will  always be new and more attractive packages around...

actually last month it is just Rm38.00...but i tink they realise it is too low or smth...then they raise it to Rm48.00...direct competition with Maxis which also offer Rm480.00 package...BUT masxis only 1.5GB...digi gave 3GB...

does the Explore 88 package also has discount if signup autodebit?
