do i nd to take my hp to digi centre for settings? if i wanna use it as HSDPA modem.

i'm quite blur on the usage limit thingy, if for explore, after i use 10gb, they'll start to charge me or throttle my speed like p1?

if they charge me, wat's that maximum to rm130+ thing, that means if i continue use more than that they'll cut me off?

oh and 1 more thing, about the hsdpa modem. the 1 free from discover package modem speed is 3.6mbps rite? And the Extreme speed is 2mbps, so does it mean i can still use my modem i got from discover for extreme package?

Guys, after we hit the limit will they throttle our speed?
My reseller told me that the speed remains the same, is it true?

Is there a way to lower latency? will putting the modem near window help?

Hi guys, i've been using Digi BB for more than a month to play World of Warcraft and it's been good.

However, since last week, the latency is really getting on my nerves, the ping can spike up to 2k/2000ms+ few times in a minute.
The speed is still very good but the latency is very very spiky and unstable, is any1 experiencing this?

Btw, i'm using Explore package with E219

I'm really really pissed right now... Has digi become another isp that let me down...

My World of Warcraft latency is now constantly above 1k/1000+ms and always spikes to 3k/3000+ a few times per minute... It has become more unstable than before...

Can any digi personal explain this? It wasn't like this when i subscribed 1 month ago, it was very stable...

Lol, now even Dragonica, game with local server(not exactly but near) lags like hell...

@ adslgourou

thx for ur attention,

My point is, it wasn't like this 1 month ago, it used to be smooth... It says that now Digi isn't is giving the best performance...

There's a problem, is it about congestion starting to build?
Is Digi going to do something about it instead of asking customers to do something like 'try moving ur modem, reseting it' like other isp?(i'm not denying it that sometimes it really helps)

Thx again fer the regedit tip, googled n researching on it, will try soon.

@adslgourou

subang jaya ss15

i've done the registry editing, it helps... not much...
cuz since the latency is 1000+ to 2000+ms, it reduces 100ms and still makes it 1k to 2k =.=

**Is Digi doing something? Is it getting congested and making the line unstable?

It's getting really frustrating... I applied digi cuz i can't tahan my brother's streamyx and now even his line can maintain latency below1.2k at peak hours...

*
1st of all, i will terminate my subscription if i'm really unhappy with digi's service, THE BEST THING I LIKE ABOUT THIS SERVICE IS NO CONTRACT SO I CAN TERMINATE ANYTIME I WANT, so there's is no need for you to state that out loud... cool.gif

The second thing is I'M SEEKING HELP HERE AND NOT 'WANNA SPOIL DIGI BB' doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

Third is like what i've already stated before, 'I'M ALSO VELY SONG WITH DLing STUFF AND STREAMING', cuz digi bb's bandwidth and speed is good, MY(i'm saying again, MINE, not ALL) problem is with MY LATENCY/PING, nothing to do with DOWNLOADING OR STREAMING

Now, can anyone with solution or help please post a reply or pm me, i'm not planning to start a debate flaming party regarding Digi's service, I NEED HELP>>>> icon_question.gif <<<<

Or the other way:
rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif good
more customer they'll get more money to improve their service thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Let us wait and see which 1 will gonna happen....
Still no 1 to help here? I tot digi put in money making this board to communicate with customers?
Still waiting, being optimistic and patient here smile.gif

Of course its main objective is to allow a maximum exposure about DiGi broadband to the forummers here, after all LYN is Malaysia's No. 1 tech based forum.
Since they sponsor a board here, they expect compliment and criticism from the users.
It is definitely a channel to voice out our opinion as well as to get the latest update about DiGi broadband.

With regards of freedom of speech but any rude or flame bait statements posters will be punished accordance with LYN's R&R.
*
Fruitie's got it right, at least for now and i like it when she's right about this cuz it simply proves that digi is doing something to really help customers. thumbup.gif
I'm in touch with help again from DiGi biggrin.gif and i hope this kind of respond goes on with each constructive criticism given by any LYN members...

And i definitely hope that they can solve my prob...

QUOTE(ks98 @ Jul 29 2009, 10:04 AM)

May I know the original objective for Digi to sponsor this forum? I think we need to make this clear so that ppl wouldn't mis-use the forum. Normally, ppl tend to get mad when they're frustrated with their broadband and will just complaint till up side down, probably, they expect someone to answer the complaint... if nothing happen after many times of complaint, then ppl will say anything that they can think of...

So, if the objective is clear than we can just simply route the person to correct channel, rather than keep on doing something unproductive... wondering if somebody else also have similar issue...
*
Dear ks98, i think that u are right on presenting the real sad case here that are the companies who don't do anything to help these 'frustrated complaining until upside down customers'(which by hearing their 'until upside down complaining' might help them improve), then the only 'correct channel' for these companies' customers is the 'Rant' channel, where nobody gives a c@#$...

Lucky we are on the otherside smile.gif

E219 also can lock on to WCDMA only. same way -->

open connection manager --> tools --> options --> network --> in network type select "WCDMA Only". should work!  icon_rolleyes.gif
