QUOTE(cardin @ Mar 26 2009, 11:03 AM) Some areas are blazing fast and some areas are having some problems getting high speed. Using DiGi Broadband in shopping malls is a breeze and even free WiFi services can't match DiGi Broadband. |

QUOTE(lazzy @ Mar 26 2009, 06:41 PM) I am considering switching from streamyx to DiGi but couple of questions hopefully current Digi broadband subscribers can answer: The reason they mentioned that it is max capped at RM188 is because the other two packages will be charged extra for additional usage once they breach the quota and the Extreme package doesn't but the speed will be throttled of course.1. What IP address are you being assinged? Public or Private? 2. I am looking at Extreme Plan RM188 but what does it mean "Max Capped at RM188", does that mean unlimited data and no slow-down? |

QUOTE(mac.tay @ Mar 27 2009, 10:14 AM) With the higher bandwidth, I can multi-task as well. I was downloading at 700kB/s and still I can browse the web smoothly which I can't with TMNET Streamyx. I just refrain from heavy downloading with DiGi and everything will be fine. I'll use DiGi to download if I need that particular large file urgently. |

In the coverage map, there is no coverage for Taman Connaught, Cheras but when I tried it there, there's HSPA coverage so if your area isn't in the coverage map but somewhere nearby is in the coverage map, there's a high possibility that your area is covered although it isn't in the coverage map.

QUOTE(lagolago @ Mar 29 2009, 01:03 AM) Well DiGi is really strong around Petaling Jaya and considering that the amount of subscribers at the moment is still less than the other 2 big players, we will have to wait and see whether they can cope with it in the future but for now based on my experience, DiGi is at the top of my list. |

QUOTE(Icehart @ Mar 30 2009, 11:36 AM) I am from Taman Sri Sentosa. If anyone from Sri Sentosa too, I would appreciate if you could share your experience with me on Digi 3G. What penalty fees will be imposed if you choose to terminate early? As far as I know and have been told by DiGi sales people, there's no contract for subscribing to DiGi Broadband. Thanks for the information. Is there any probation or cool off period where we can return or cancel the subscription without incurring any penalty fees for weak signal? |

QUOTE(Icehart @ Mar 30 2009, 11:42 AM) Thanks for the enlightenment. How about those bundled 3G modem together with the package? As far as I know there's this 12 months monthly installment fees for package bundled together with modem. If you take the one bundled together with a modem, you will have to pay the remaining balance for the modem. Let's say if you already paid for 2 months for the modem, you'll have to pay the remaining 10 months upon termination. |
