What package is this?

strange, never get this fast since day 1. Only can get very stable 0.9Mb-1.2Mb average.
I'm using E160,tested E220, now using HSUPA modem also same speed.

My experience is my phone SE G900 & K800, not able to see 3G logo, even select to 3G network.
Then reliase and ask the DiGi from facebook, they ask me to give the number, they need to activate 3G for me.
5 mins later i can use already after they ask me to restart my phone.

If you do not have facebook account, then just call the DiGi helpline, 016 221 1800 to activate for you.

Tested using video call from DiGi to DiGi, work fine. But not to maxis number. Some1 said ok, some1 said can call to celcom.
Prepaid user, then you can test out the RM5/day on your phone to work as modem to surf net. Enjoy!

yes, you need the network ID, also like 014/016 number to register OCS.
Please call DiGi after 3-5 days, tell them your IC number, they will tell you the 014 number.
When i apply broadband that time, dealer not giving me the big sim card, so i also don't know the number.
I try to call DiGi after that even the broadband can be use 2 hour later, but DiGi system still not able to trace my number to register OCS.
So wait 3-5 days and call them to request the number.

According to Digi new internet package, the previous plan already discontinue. And now RM48 for first 12 months. Limit to 3Gb/monthly.
That's mean it will be same as broadband discovery package. The only different is it call Internet Unlimited Monthly 58.

I think is is better than your EDGE data unlimited. Because now you can use up to 700kpbs ( average you will get 1Mb, don't worry. )

truly unlimited but EDGE speed is slow, or 3G speed 3GB, after that capping at EDGE speed. So new package still better.

why not you just use the DiGi prepaid and activate it at RM5 per day. Then you no need to go to DiGi center to apply for broadband. Just buy any DiGi starter sim pack and use for few days. Top up RM10 or RM30 and use it.

I'm staying at 11floor, no problem at all. Full bar, 1mpbs average. Get -76dBm ( very good signal i think )
Even i bring my laptop to my room behind also no problem. Not like maxis, celcom, have to put near window. Maybe DiGi put the right place to my house.
Even my DiGi 3G signal full bar no matter where i am. If maxis it will on and off 3G signal....

suggest you wait until this coming PC fair, it will be cheaper i think....

my friend use E160 by digi, can be use celcom also. Should be no problem with hotlink also.
Try to restart your computer.
Do you set the correct APN?

i don't have this problem.
10am-6pm working, always connected to my laptop. ( 1-2 bar only )
8pm-12am, back to my house, also never disconnect. ( full bar )

For my case, i just use it for download picture, upload picture for my work. Browsing web, check mail, facebook.
Never use P2P sharing....

yes you can. My wife using it with her postpaid + RM48 internet unlimited.
just set the APN to 3gdgnet ( or it will detect itself ) at USB modem. And go online.
Quota is 3GB.

This is my wife postpaid with 3G internet unlimited.

The speed is the same with my Explore package. Only different is 3GB vs 10GB.

not only download, watching online video like youtube, facebook also take a lot of usage.

i received my bill every month...no extra charge. Explore - RM88 with bill.

are you refering to postpaid with internet unlimited or just Digi broadband alone?

you will get 3GB quota, no matter GPRS, EDGE or 3G speed. Depends where you are when getting the signal. If your handphone only get EDGE signal, but DiGi website show your area got 3G, then you need to call DiGi to activate the 3G service for you.
The calculation of usage is all inlcude phone usage + notebook modem. 3GB per month. ( even they said "unlimited" ). No matter GPRS/EDGE/3G. I'm not sure it will be extra charge after 3GB or you will get lower speed.

actually you no need to wait, can upgrade anytime to extreme.
But now too late. Always get same speed like explore, only got extra quota ( RM158 - 16GB )

It should pay higher to get faster speed, not pay higher to get more quota.
I thought Digi will be the first to expand their users to get 7.2 or 14.4 HSUPA technology.
Not like other only provide 3.6Mbps HSDPA.

This is wasted on HSUPA.
I'm always get 1Mpbs RM88 explore 10GB. Still happy with it, but will not upgrade to Explore 16G @ RM158.
I better upgrade my streamyx combo to 4Mpbs @ RM160.

how about other 3G coverage place? As i know ( like me), if you need to use 3G, even video call, you need to call DiGi to activate for you.
Previously my 3G phone not able to detect 3G even i'm at 3G place. Now no problem already.

Salak Selatan is near here @ Desa Petaling, also slower than before. Almost 1 month. DiGi said last few week got network problem. Untill now also not solved.
Last time can get 1 to 1.2Mbps. Now only can get 0.7-0.9Mbps.


Yup, upload is slow....slow...slow.
What we can complaint? It's still above they promised speed - 700kbps.
