have any way to make digi 3g broadband stay on hsdpa connection and not to reduce to edge connection?

You need to change your setting on the connection manager.
Under Tools> Options> Network, change network type to WCDMA only.
It will log you onto 3G network only.

But need to remember to change the setting back if you go to a no-3g area. If not, you wont get any signal at all.

just signed up for RM68 plan last week. it was sweet and smooth the first few days. after that didnt use it for few days, tried to connect on tuesday, it come out error "dial-up failed". yesterday took it to specialised store, they tested it with other usb modems, none working. in the end i was asked to go the digi centre for solution.

havent go to digi centre yet, such bad luck. this is probably rare case, but give me bad impression on digi now. anyone know solution to my problem, i dont have time to go their centre for now... sad.gif

try use on other usb modem, if working that's mean the usb modem u having is spoilt.

another thing you can try is to update the modem firmware which you can download from DiGi web site...

anyway...welcome to the pirate of the caribbean...hahahahahaha....

i know what happen.
u need to call helpline, to verify yourself on phone.
because they just worry someone using your ic and register the line.
anyway, it is suck a stupid idea.

did you receive any missed call from 0162991800???
just call back, the line will be activated immediately.
and, please say a fxxk word to digi helpline. mad.gif

if you put your broadband card into your phone, and type *128*1*1#, i think you will see it say your line is suspend.

That's because you're connected. Disconnect and open the options page to try again.

i think RM38 is only broadband package.

if you prefer prepaid, there are 2 plan for you to choose.
http://www.digi.com.my/prepaid/plan_overview.do
RM5 max or RM3 max.
DiGi Prepaid™ RM5 max/day.
Digi® Easy Prepaid RM3 max/day.

Digi® Easy Prepaid RM3 max/day.
The daily usage limit is 100MB. No extra charge, max RM3/day.

Or RM15/week, 250MB.
http://www.digi.com.my/internet/3g/pricing_iu15.html

if you are looking to montly basis, you need to change to postpaid smartplan
RM33 for lite or RM68 for normal smartplan.

so far only U mobile offer value for money for PREPAID, RM28/month/500MB with 100mins/30sms. No extra data charges.
i'm using it now.
Other than that, maxis prepaid internet mobile too expensive and if over quota, charge accordingly.
