if u want to get ur own modem, get the HUAWEI E1762, so far is the best at the moment
Digi only provide Huawei E160E and E1550, both of them got upload problem with using Window Vista and 7 OS, but it can be solve by download latest patch from digi website

thanks for the suggestion, will do a survey on that modem..

oh I forgot that my N85 does support HSPDA, can I use my HP as modem every time I want to connect my Lappy to digi 3G?

ok thanks for the advice.
I've just grab HUAWEI E1762 demo modem for 100rm, and buy Digi internet prepaid(support 3g Turbo).
I did notice it does apply 3GB monthly quote, does the new "unlimited usage" apply too?(the one that limit speed to 128kbps after 3GB quote finished)

I just wanna ask.

Is the broadband speed affected by whether an area has 3G or HSDPA reception?

Is it faster in those areas?

My dad's planing to get one later but I'm concerned about the speed and stability of the line.
