hmm this only work if u only use on 1 pc..
if u use on multiple pc..then it cant track as the data is store in pc not in the modem itself....
for me i use 3 pc ..2 in house and 1 in office  tongue.gif
*
yes, this is not the right way to track the usage if using more than 1 PC.
I use my modem for 3 PCs. So i have to combine it, calculate, not a good idea.
Hopefully digi will launch this function online asap.

that patch is used for ?

Do not connect to internet first. ( of course you need to connect the modem to your computer )
After the modem detected the signal, then go to Tools, Options.
You should able see the Options to choose WCDMA only.

Added on October 21, 2009, 4:50 pm
last mth juz tried 3.4GB but still no extra charge  sweat.gif

if like this, no body will sign up for explore RM88 already.
Because Discover cheaper, no more charge when exceed 3Gb.
Same speed, lower price....

i think i have to terminate my explore RM88 and apply for Discover package. I just need the pay the balance of modem RM15/month.

just got some update at digi website. It's a 3G speed.
there are now available for Digi Postpaid for Internet Unlimited at Promo RM48. Is mean your same postpaid sim can apply for Internet Unlimited at RM48 ( normal price RM58 )
http://www.digi.com.my/internet/3g/pricing_58.html
Monthly : Quota 3GB
Likely average speed : 700kbps
Upload : 200kbps
After 3GB - no extra charge but it will limit your speed.

This apply for 3G phone, but i think it will work for modem as well.

For prepaid user :
max charge RM5 /day
daily usage limit - 100MB
after 100MB - no extra charge but will limit your speed.

coverage - now you can check the EDGE/3G/Broadband here.
http://www.digi.com.my/internet/3g/coverage_int.html

My experience is when i'm using Digi Broadband, at my office can do not have broadband coverage, but i'm still able to use it as 3G speed. That's mean when you are out of broadband coverage, but if under 3G coverage, you still able to get 3G speed.
You might check the 3G coverage. ( The website now let's us press the coverage type to check now )

Is there a discount if I pay my bill using cc auto-debit?

My area suffers no data transfer problem over the weekend until yest. Dissapointed me totally as the cs claims that there's no service interruption in my area, asked me to check my modem coz they suspect my modem has problem.
*
RM5 for auto debit, i'm thinking for it also, but since the government charge RM50 for credit cards, i have to consider it again....
total 1 year only save RM10. If not can save RM60 from auto debit.

my office at USJ 21 also not broadband coverage, but i'm still able to get 700-800kbps.
I think even if there is no broadband coverage, but if under 3G coverage, you still able to get it work.
I have checked your USJ 18 is under 3G coverage.

download stall problems are still there...surfing is OK, youtube doesn't buffer, but various large file downloads keep stalling! Anyone experiencing this? Tried downloading this file, keeps stalling at 85.1% (a freaking 5.9MB file)

http://download.pcinspector.de/pci_filerecovery.exe

I thought it might be with the site, but it keeps happening to various downloads from a variety of sites...sometimes happens to files as small as 600KB...

no problem for me

My problem is not speed. It downloads at speeds in excess of 100KB/Sec. It's just that moments before it is supposed to complete it comes to an abrupt halt without completing the download.
*
mine completed download. So i think it depend on your location....

Thanks 9M-MAS,

Problem is, i am on 5 bar full HSDPA.  And yeah, i am on WDCMA network preferred too.

And i was a previous user digi unlimited edge  with no such problem too.  Just that opening with edge network took a bit more time compared to 3G network.

I am going to run this for another week to see if the problem still exist.

try to set WCDMA only.

here is a comparison digi bb with hotlink prepaid broadband.

location : 11 floor, Desa Sri Puteri, Desa Petaling.

I have tested RM2/hour on my hotlink prepaid.
tyring to load speedtest.net also difficult.

maxis or digi, you can see the different below.
Maxis sometimes, fast, sometimes very slow, even loading 1 page also slow.
My office at USJ 21 can get around 0.7Mbps only, upload 0.1Mbps.

But digi bb can give me very stable connection. I love digi bb.

Opps my bad, what i was trying to say, i was on WDCMA only. Silly me.

and still, i had no problem when i was on edge unlimited, so i doubt about the edge thing.

So u have no problem trying to open the 3 blogs mentioned above?

Thanks KarHeng for replying back smile.gif

all 3 blogs loading smoothly. Finish loaded 10-20 sec. No pic missing.

Guy, I lost my Samba75 installation disc for Mobile PhoneTools that came with my DiGi Edge. I recently got a Windows Vista system and I need to get a copy of the installation file. Anyone have a copy?

Online searches keep yielding a "shareware" newer version.

Or could anyone teach me or point me to how to go online using Vista on the Samba75 usb modem?
*
maybe you can try to install Windows vista patch file from digi website.

Just want to check.  Do the billing inform you how much bandwidth you used up?  Also, do you all have the cut off date on 16th monthly.  I was really surprise the I call Digi they told me that 16th of every month is the cut off date.  Nevertheless, I have just subscribed on 10th November.  Funny eh.
*
i think you are asking "total usage" , not bandwidth.
yes, it show at page 3 ( see attachment )
after using, then you only know. And this bill will generate after 5-7 days later....
I'm regiester on 16 Aug, so no problem for me.
