is that mean when you apply for digi broadband, let say RM88 ( promotion price ) 10GB free modem, after 1 year should be RM108 ( normal price ).
Now Digi charge you RM108 start from 13th month onwards? I think that is normal if Digi auto renew for you. But i know maybe some1 don't like to auto renew.
We should have a option to choose after 1 year, or prompt us sms to let us know at least.

Or your problem now is on 13th month, you want to terminate now but they ask you for the modem penalty fee? In that case thier system got problem...

btw, i terminate my RM88 at 7th month, so i need to pay balance RM15x6 = RM90 for the modem. This is what my experience.

Then another problem came out. When i terminate that time, the guy told me that the auto debit will stop immediately. It's mean i have to pay the bill manually when received the statement next month. WTF, when i received the statement and pay the bill ( 20 something only ) on next day, i reliazed that my credit card already "help"
me to pay the bill. Already called digi, they say they will return money to me within 3 month...Digi staff give me wrong info so i overpaid.
So sad i never login to check my credit card trans. feq......

Did you read the T&C first? Maybe they got stated that if didn't hear from you a certain period, you account will auto renew.....better go thru and double check lor...this kind of big big company like to play this kind of things one.

They will said we go stated in the T&C did you read...and later you found out that it park under one small little corner with those tiny little fonts....I once kena with our famous budget airline before....damm.....

Even DiGi broadband packages state the "contract-free" marketing term, but in the law term, there is a mandatory "business contract" between DiGi and you as a customer.

When you receive a copy of your registration form, the T&C mentioned is a business contract apart from what DiGi has promoted on its Broadband packages website:
•  Advance payment: 1 month of the monthly fee (non-refundable).
•  One month’s fee advance payment and deposit of RM500 required  for foreigner registrations.
•  Usage volume is calculated based on monthly bill cycle.
•  All speeds shown are average speeds which can be higher during non-peak hours.
•  Fair usage policy applies.
•  Upon reaching usage quota, speed will fall to 128kbps.
•  Stamp duty of RM10 applies and will be reflected in the first bill.
•  Existing customers subscribed to Extreme will be maintained at their respective speed and quota.

My speed is still capped @ 128kbps. Heck, I didn't even receive the message saying I've used up 75% or 100% of the quota.

Do I need a 3G simcard to use Digi's 3G?

ALso, it seem I can't connect to the internet when my phone is in 3G mode but in an EDGE only area. Isn't it supposed to fall back to EDGE automatically

I understand what you've said. In fact, what you have said just now is also a business contract even it is about the modem. It fits my point well about why "contract-free" that DiGi uses for promotion is just a marketing strategy. You still have an underlying business contract with DiGi upon the promotion package inclusive of the modem.

do take note that stability if measured by torrent downloading is highly dependent on the "quality" of the torrent file and no of seeds...

totally agreed that digi line is damn stable. i cut my own screamyx and im happy now! 

anyone has the speedtest result on 3G hsdpa? especially with the RM68 internet unlimited package. this package seems very enticing..... , no usage capped per month. and for the similiar price, faster than tmnet RM68 sucking384kbps package.

got already!! mine 12 GB now!! cos i already hit 1 year with DiGi Broadband!! 

There's no cap. 3gb just quota. As u exceed, they just limit speed. Cap means u reach the cap, you can't use. Playing with words.

fuyoo digi p2p really fast full speed 1.2mbps-1.3mbps average, i almost cant surf websites....

wow, digi really take steps to keep their customers! 

but what happens to customers to take up take up explore at a promotional price of 88 for 10gb? become 98 for 12gb?
