Welcome on board! Huawei Router for RM299? Which model and does it comes with WIFI? The ones Maxis is selling? If just plain router, it could be the one with a built-in battery.

Sorry for late reply. missed this question from you.

It is Huawei D100. looks like this. you just stick the modem in the top part and all computers at home can share your connection.

jz received my bill, i want to ask what is stamp duty? and why is digi charging me rm15 for modem although i am on explore (rm108) package in which the modem shd be free?
*
stamp duty is charged by the government once. standard charge for postpaid bills as well. as for the modem charges, i saw in my friend's bill last week that there as a charge for the RM15 and then a credit of the RM15 in another line item. i can't see my own bill to double confirm since i have yet to receive it (just signed up last week at PC Fair only).

Just got home from yellow store.  rclxm9.gif

current promo, RM 78 for explore package, 10g cap with free unlimited slower bandwidth after that.

I opt to enable Auto Billing, minus another RM 5.

So, I only need to pay RM 73 / month for 1 year.  Now waiting for it to activate.

is it really 78???!!!! arrrghhhh!

I just wanna ask.

Is the broadband speed affected by whether an area has 3G or HSDPA reception?

Is it faster in those areas?

My dad's planing to get one later but I'm concerned about the speed and stability of the line.
*
yes it is faster when you are within the 3G or HSDPA coverage area.
