just now went to Ikano at 7pm... only 65 people sign the contract and buy the HP laptop...

Perhaps with the current coverage limitation, there are not many subscribers at the moment although there are many who are interested in this service.

for the first 100 users, yes.. they get to buy the laptop at cheap price.
Not for others though ...

their coverage sux for now.
their package sux... 10gb usage?
the price.. ugh.... p1 wimax starts from RM49

Halo.. any Digi spy here?
Do something to the package and price la....
but, i think by the time the coverage reaches my place... most probably wimax already has fully covered all the places i might be needing internet access whistling.gif

what with what speed? up to 3.6mbps leh...that RM49 is for 400kbps, RM199 for 2.4 mbps still cheaper than ur P1..technically speaking  icon_idea.gif

the big problem is broadband connection will be throttled to 64kbps when the quota 10GB is breached.

come on digi spy. smaller u-mobile can offer better than 64kbps 'broadband'. RM49 P1 for 400kbps faster than rm158 digi 3g.

they need some time to implement completely. Even installing new tower/devices could take more than a year (depends on local authorities)

Nope, did I say the coverage is in Klang?
Don't misunderstand smile.gif

Coverage is in Damansara, SS2 and all those borders and etc only

I bought it because I want the laptop, not the broadband because I know Klang won't get it that fast
