Hi,

Just got an 3G IPhone unlock last week. Proceed with Jaibreaking and the installed the usual stuff like Bosspref, SwirlyMMS (Trial), MCleaner (Trial) and Winterboard. Been using it a few days and then yesterday I copied the Maxis bundle (Carrier logo) that I had used for my 2G iphone and it work.

Then yesterday about 11.30pm all of a sudden after receiving one SMS it was unable to find any Telco Carrier. I reboot the iPhone, remove the SIM Card, tested the SIM card to be working in my other phone. Just could not get any services.

Anyway I just did a full restore and then Jail Break it again and now it is working.

Should I be concern ??

Yes it happened once on my iphone 3g, out of the blue no service detected, i toggle on off airplane mode and its back to normal

that was my pre-jailbreak time though, never occur this problem after jailbreaked ( touch wood )

I don't think you should be concerned unless you repeated keep getting no service. Right now, just be happy with what you have.
But I'm a bit afraid as I read in other forums that some iPhones (2G and 3G) will suddenly get no service problems for no reason.

I dont know bout u guys but mine oso hapened..actually coz my sim was loose...just used some tape and stuck it so that my sim card wont be loose then kao tim

Phone is an unlock phone and base on the Model No. it should be from NZ.

So far so good after the restore and JB again. Great to have some feedback on this matter.
