I notice that the Fake wiimote has different FCC ID and IC# compared to ori Taiwan wiimote. The ori Taiwan wiimote has the exact same markings as my ori US wiimote.

Also, from photos provided by JasonSky, the fake has FCC ID and IC# of the Japan wiimote, while the Korean unit not supposed to have FCC ID and IC# at all. To say that it is a Korean unit then have Japan markings doesn't make sense.

Also, I'm not surprised that the fake isn't branded as Wü instead of Wii. Seems that most fakes are made by that company.
