QUOTE(Faint @ Mar 30 2009, 10:13 PM) I had test drive new Vios and new City before, I like City because of the feeling of when I'm driving the car, like feel more secure. If compare the security functions of Vios and City, City was much more good. Try to nego with the Bank, i got 2.47% earlier, now is 2.44% if pay RM10k/20k deposit, I got this from SA yesterday. but it's still droping... so it can be 2.39% now... Added on March 31, 2009, 10:02 am QUOTE(benere @ Mar 30 2009, 10:28 PM) hi all, i've been sticky to this thread.... So far after a week, i realize that the FC not that good. Pumped full tank last tuesday, tonight need to go pump again seems like everyone just try to share the joyness on their new lovely city. However, i believe that not all car is perfect. i would like to know any cons on this car? high maintenance fees, noisy dashboard and etc... please share some if any... i wanna know so that before i buy, i can consider whether i cant accept its cons... just like finding wife, we can accept her weakness Added on March 31, 2009, 10:13 amReseting the ECU will improve the FC? Can anyone share the fact with me This post has been edited by Erickkt: Mar 31 2009, 10:13 AM |

QUOTE(foocy2001 @ Mar 31 2009, 10:21 AM) Mileage +/-260KM on a full tank? Wahhh...that's not good at all. How much petrol did you put in the tank in liters? Well, because most of the time caugh in the JAM I have heard that sometimes resetting the ECU will improve the FC but before doing that, better to look at your driving style. It might be the case of being heavy footed and short distance stop-n-go driving. If you are confident that your driving style is not a contributing factor, then try resetting the ECU. FYI, I'm doing mostly 430KM on a full tank before the light comes on. Usually, I drive another 50KM plus before I fill up. actually can drive beyond 500km but I don't want to push it...in case it dries up! I pumped in Full tank, around 40 littles in total. |

QUOTE(bluesky87 @ Apr 1 2009, 01:32 AM) How did you appeal for lower interest Erickkt? My car loan approved one week before the registration (I Asked the office that the interest is droping, she said that i can appeal if i found out that the loan interest is lower later). My car registered on last monday and i got the car on tuesday, the SA submited the application to the bank on the following wednesday, I got the bank officer phone number from the SA. I called the bank officer and she said that she could appeal for me; then on friday, the officer called me back and said that the interest has reduced to onewan mind to snap some photos and show us your interior coating please? I'm looking forward for it though Hi zoule HCo, how much does the device and installation fees cost you? Mind to share some photos? 1. Hopefully this will improve later after 10k service or we'll have to bear with it. Luckily the petrol price has gone down. 2. Second that. Looking for aftermarket sound proofing for better sound insulation. 3. Have to get the car and drive more only can give opinion on this. 4. Might just do what Alwin did. 5. Luckily it doesn't cost a lot to install this. 6. Scott why would you want to cross your leg while driving? 7. Can't help but to listen to mp3s. 8. Agree on this but not sure why. I did press on each and every car in the Honda showroom and all of them feels the same. Can be easily pushed in. Try it. 9. Can't help about this since it is the only interior color available. 10. I'm in love with PMM therefore no comment on this. Good news for me. If everything goes well I'll probably be getting my car in two weeks time!! I am not sure whether you can still appear or not, but no harm to try as if can, it may save you $$$$. Just get the bank officer contact from your SA, call the bank office and try to nego with him/her. I pumped the second tank of pertrol yesterday. Full tank, hope that can last longer, the previous tank only last for 300KM |

QUOTE(bluesky87 @ Apr 1 2009, 09:11 PM) Thanks for the explanation Erickkt. My loan has been approved hopefully I will get a lower interest rate by the time I get my car. Again, FC issue is very subjective depending on your driving habit. I mean you can say you're driving slow/fast but how slow/fast is your slow/fast? Lol sorry I don't know how to explain this in words but FC is really a subjective matter. I am not rich at all but I am just wondering why do you all concern about the FC so much since the petrol price has gone down so much? |

QUOTE(geo_seven @ Apr 17 2009, 12:26 PM) no want answer u cause this is very personal thing and depend ur negotiation skill... new car have no promotion or discount. Normally the discount is base on the SA. u can try go to honda showroom 1st to get a SA... then choose see which 1 is offer better. This most of us is doing that way. Good luck mate and share with us about ur hunt. every SA have their personal skill.... like my SA not giving much on discount... just discount vocher on tinted.. but i like his after sales service ... so good... i having my car bout 3 month + but he still keep contact me and follow up with me. hehe |
