Guys. I believe most of you have done your 1k service. What's your FC like now? How many kilometers can you cover with RM60 of petrol?
*
My car even worse then before (before 1st service).. cry.gif
Before 1st service my FC can easily go up to 450+ full tank..
Now after 1st service..the best i can go for full tank was 350km... shakehead.gif

Can't really blame the SA(s). They're trying to make a living for themselves. It's really up to us to be smart consumers. I myself got a lousy deal buying this NHC. I'm not gonna argue with the SA but no way on earth I'm gonna recommend anyone to him. Not even going to service at his SC. Let his manager screw him. Just received the Honda Survey letter. Gonna tick happily.

Anyway I'm really glad you guys created this thread and participate in it. It's really useful for a lot of people here. Myself included. Thanks guys.

True, they could at least give something to the buyers to entice them.
My brother also had a lousy SA (which I almost bought my car from him too). He gave nothing at all, maybe 1/3 tank of petrol. The service center (Kosmo Kars @ Glenmarie) sucks too.. took 3 hours to do the 1k service, and no free car wash or vacuum. I hope he gets his survey so he can comment on it. I think the Jln 222 branch is good, except that the showroom is small (only 3 cars inside) and the service center is a tad small, hence the congestion. besides that, the SAs are friendly and got lenglui too thumbup.gif

Wingard 2 in 1 Royal tinting is it? Quite good...
And my FC still not up to expectation... Really need to wait engine to run in maybe.

Just got my survey form... hehe *evil grin* I'm going to give them bad review kao-kao... *snicker*

Like what sysh said, I've got less than 1/3 of petrol tank, waited for almost 3 hours where I had an appointment and no free car wash and vacuum like my bro had. Plus people who came after me got their car earlier... vmad.gif There was another lady who complained why is her car taking so long.

Did anyone know Winguard-Royal brand ar? Is it good ar?
*
My SA offered me that Wingard Royal. The test drive car they are using used that tint. It is a combination of safety and solar film but I find it a bit dark for me. I prefer solar tint only and end up to V-kool, I know a lot of people here are against V-kool but based on my friends experience I decided to go for it. Back to your question, it looks good and if you are after safety and don't have visual problem like me (can't see clearly at night) I think it is a good tint. My SA told me it is about RM 1800.
Regards.

I can barely reach 400km with RM60 =.=. I wonder if it's because of the routes I take. Mostly jam. Anyway my 1k service at Peringgit also lousy. Waited 3 hours. No free car wash / vacuum nothing. SA saw me from far just smile. Don't even bother to come over and say hi or ask how's my car. Kns!

actually..... whats the warranty for the PPS means?

Errr.. my seems still smooth. I've washed my car say 3-4 times already. Haven't noticed any visible scratches, maybe 'cos it's silver.
Hmm. what type of car shamppo did you purchase? Raymond did recomment a 'balanced pH' shampoo. If you think that the PPS has
gone off, I think you can check with Raymond. There's this warranty receipt that he gave us. Perhaps you can read about it. But when
I asked him about the warranty, he was saying if it comes off or if the paint gets dull.. can go back to him. hopefully you can claim the
warranty on it. do let us know the outcome smile.gif

so you got the experience like mine....... the boss cannot do anything right? whats type of shampoo you using? i already find something writen PH Balance as recommended by raymond..... i shampoo wash every week and even water wash every 1 to 2 days........ so the feeling like yours... a bit rough like rubber already....not the smoothness we got from the day we done pps...... i thought i will be there always to protect our car?
i also not sure is the PPS are doing the job as i don't feel anything different from my mom CRV paint.... seems same now...... my heart also pain... not becoz of money..... ecause it seems a bit scratch already.....

Well, PPS cannot protect your car from normal wear and tear so when you wipe off the car, the particles in your cloth will still cause abrasion and damage to the paint. Stone chips from daily driving are also issues that cause damage to your car paint and there's really not much you can do to protect against that. Still, PPS still makes it more resistant than your standard wax but swirl marks can still happen if proper maintenance isn't done.

Why do you think you still have to go back every half a year or so to Sunway for maintenance? wink.gif

but i think the 1st one sounds more reasonable hmm.gif

Hmm.. that's quite weird. I will need to check the next time I wash my car. I'm using the shampoo that I bought from his shop. I do agree however the car doesn't shine as nicely as the first day. But I consider it still okay as it's still very easy and fast to wash the car. Maybe we can take notes the next time we go on TT? At least can always find out from Raymond why is it like that. Maybe his worker never put enough teflon?

Oh oh... damn... I was about to send to Raymond for coating.... but seems that its not what it should be?! sad.gif

Then what's the point of having the warranty if the shine and smoothness is no longer there? Can someone confirm this??? hmm.gif

Maybe chris_x can clarify on this matter?

Also, I think can test 1, as per their product description... "water will always float on the paint surface in the form of beads or water droplets and roll off the surface.."? So these few days rain, anybody noticed this on their PPS coated car?
