I've been thinking lately...can i mix strings on a guitar?
I've got some GHS Heavy Weights and D'Addarios but thinking of mixing the both of them.
Might be putting GHS on the 4th,5th,6th strings and D'Addarios on 1st,2nd,3rd.
But is it a good idea?
I'm pretty sure about the tonal differences but i wanna try the GHS's heavy top and D'Addario's nickel strings.

But what do you think?

Mixing guitar strings....MIXED.

And bloody hell it feels goooood.
Deep but also bright sounds.
GHS (0.11,0.13,0.18) and D'Addario (0.30,0.42,0.52)

And i wil continue mixing strings!

So, maybe we can have a try with it next time =)
