Geografi is the easiest subject of all.. seriously, you'll start laughing when you see their questions. The only thing need to memorize are the locations of the places where X is mined in Merit Pila, Silimpopon, Kayu Arang, and the natural gases/petroleum rigs such as Erb West (came out in last year PMR, I took it!), Laila, and the likes. And also you shouldn't have problem with Koordinat for the first part and also make sure you know which kind of housing is this (berkelompok, berpusat). Other than that just memorise a few of the international places such as the gurun gurun and Siberia.

So many places... how to memorize all?
And we're not using textbook, we're using the Sasbadi nexus vista book and I think it has a looooooot of additional info which isn't in the textbook, including additional places..

Questions are set according to textbooks and not reference books right?

I saw trial exam papers.. Many questions on places I can't even recall..

There is some part you no need to memorize. Just use common sense and general knowledge. Do many questions is the best way. You need to buy different publisher books. After doing a lot of exercise, you will realize that there are some popular questions which will always seen in test paper. There is no need to memorize the whole map. You only need to remember some popular places which will always pop out in your test paper. For Geografi, you cannot only study textbook. It is too less. Better study reference book. If you find out that many questions based on the map you cannot recall, do not panic. Calm you mind and think the possibility of the answer. When I was in Form Two, I sat Geografi test for mid-year exam. My feeling was exactly same with yours. Many facts cannot recall. Nevertheless, I tried to calm myself and finished my test paper. After the exam, I said to myself that I am not doing well in this paper and forget about it. Do you know what happen? I scored full mark! Really unbelievable. Just bear in mind. Do not panic. Just use your common sense and general knowledge to find out the possibility of the answer. Geografi is an easy subject. Just relax.

Take your time la.. PMR so long away.. trust me when I was Form 3 last year I kept thinking that I should study starting from June or July the latest and ended up studying only ON the day I am sitting for the paper.. how do I cram so much info of 3 years of learning into less than an hour before the paper start? (I got 5A) Here's how. Like Cristellia said, common sense and general knowledge. I'm not sure about you, but I read Wikipedia, Encyclopaedia Britannica and National Discovery alot, as well as reading and memorising the world atlas (I like world maps and facts). These kind of knowledge helps you. And if you're not like me (dont like reading or learning about stuff) then only use common sense as a LAST RESORT. PMR gives you alot of time to think than regular school tests. Start ticking off the answers you know that are irrelevant or totally wrong and narrow down your options (think of the 50:50 option in Who Wants To Be A Millionaire). It's best if you can narrow down your answer to only 2 options. Then try to flashback your memory and think of the two answers. Most likely is that you'll be hooked up with a recognition for the question and answer.

I've never used any of the Nexus books (except for P.Islam) but I agree that is is rather thick. I use the Super Hot PMR books which are quite good, but sadly I only read them for 1 day (PMR day)

Good luck studying for PMR! Remember that you should focus on your Form 1&2 work only during weekends, on weekdays try to focus more on the Form 3 work!

@LCGoDShadoW:
You got a B-grade even though your managed to answer over 40 questions.
It doesn't mean that the 40 over questions you answered are all correct.
