gosh nokia, i am soooo disappointed.. n86 is a big disappointment.. i was expecting so much more for the n8x series and this one came up.. led flash only? come on.. pls make xenon standard ok.. and the design is ugly.. it looks so disgusting with its matte look and quirky buttons.. this is by far the ugliest phone and most disappointing phone ever existed. i was wishing something that would top the already-perfect n82 but instead this came up..

Added on February 19, 2009, 3:12 amthe back of the phone is just retarded and looks outdated.. worst back cover ever..

and what is the use of 8 mp without xenon?

sorry guya i'm just really frustrated over this n86 right now.. i tot they'll put a xenon and somethign similar or more beautiful design than the n85.. i'm just really really disappointed.. this is nothing but just a boost of megapixels and downgrade of design..i was expecting sooo much more.. to have nokia slap this bloody- ugly- non-xenon camera phone thrown at us.. what an insult to smartphones

comparing xenon and led flash, let's see..

n95 with dual led flash versus n82 with xenon flash

huge difference.. that's why n82 is one of the best-selling and also one of the highest rated nokia smartphones in the market.. you don't know how a simple "xenon-equipped" cameraphone can convince so much buyers inspite of n82's low battery...

right now let's wait to see how the so-called "3rd gen led flash" will fare..

N97 will not be equipped with xenon..

the only nokia cameraphones with it is n82 and 6220 classic.. out of these two, n82 is the most decent one.. but it had a few hiccups like so-so design, no navi wheel, dim light etc.. that's why i needed something that could actually top n82..

having xenon doesn't necessarily drown the battery life.. take for example k850 and samsung g810. battery life is decent. what is important is how the drivers and hardware work with each other. nokia's idea of disabandoning xenon is just absurd.

btw, n85 had the perfect design that i desired.. if only n86 had similar design like n85, with gud navi wheel, better processing, and with xenon.. i'll be the first one to grab it. so right now i'll just wait for that phone to come..

this phone isn;t shiny enough.. it has a really grainy look. don't you guys think? the back looks matte. the rounded keys are the most hideous part of the phone, seem very outdated.. the slashing soft keys is a bit too over the top and distracting enough to make you take notice of it.. the back cover looks really cheap with really nothing to be proud off.. conclusion i wouldn't want to be seen carrying this ugly junk with me. i oso agree that nokia needs a new phone designer.. nokia has been quite infamous with the design of their phone..
