about a month last 3 weeks i bough a Xbox arcade from game tower cheras...

now i have a serious problem regarding the sound quality.

i prefer to use the HDMI to connect to my Samsung T240 LCD with FullHD output.
but my Hifi receiver is running on Optical cable only.

So i have to output the HDMI cable from Xbox to LCD, then only can output Optical cable from LCD
to Receiver...

i still remember last time when i play PS3 the sound is loud and nice with hard Bass...

now with Xbox setup, i have to turn on to -25db only can feel it is loud.
compare to PS3 direct output from Optical cable is -45db.

any expert please help me to solve this problem....thank you very very much.

u confirm ur hifi dun have rca input?
if have, then u can use the av cable to use the rca cable

The problem is with you TS, not your console. And yes, this question has been raised too many times, please do a search for few pages back
