QUOTE(Eiraku @ Feb 17 2009, 10:07 AM) This is not madness... THIS IS SPARTA!!! Wah! OmniHD got nice app but still the same interface. Hope some of the app will port to our 5800.Sorry, couldn't help myself... And crapcrap, the OmniaHD has a S60v5 SmartMemo app, something I've been dreaming about for a while... And other great crap I HOPE "someone" ports over to our Tubies later (Widgets? 3D Menu? DivX player?)... http://www.symbian-freak.com/news/009/02/o...ed_by_eldar.htm |

This thread is soooo fast. I can't catch up with all the discussion right now. Leave only 1 hour already 2-3 pages.
BTW, yesterday I test running music player with earphone attached. After 12 hour of running, still got full bar. Then I played another 3 hours of music, 30 minutes of movie, a few calls and sms, so now after 20 hours, my tube still got 3 bars. This tube really for music. |

Guys, until just now, I surf only through Celcom 3G and no problem so far. But today, I went to KFC and try to surf there, but can't connect to their wifi. So how exactly to use their wifi?
What I did, Connectivity --> Wireless LAN -->Free KFC Wifi. |

5800 is the best phone for its price.
Where can we get other phone with large screen, higher resolution and with touchscreen capabilities with <RM1.4 price tag? |

QUOTE(hvaly @ Feb 19 2009, 01:30 PM) For me, DC picture is better than 5800 without cover. BTW I took them using D70s (sorry, dSLR not DC). I just set all to auto for 5800 and some setting for dSLR.But, I like 5800 without cover picture. Acceptable. QUOTE(ridzyroo @ Feb 19 2009, 01:39 PM) in terms of white balance, the DC wins...the reason the book behind it is blur because it is focusing on the nearer object and not the book while the tube focuses on everything...which makes it lack depth perception Right. I focus on the scissor. Because I don't like using flash, have to use larger aperture and slower time.QUOTE(kitkat @ Feb 19 2009, 02:01 PM) Will try it. |

So, I believe in this case, the low quality and higher noise in 5800 picture is due to the low quality of cover. I already mention before that I hate the design of the camera with out slide cover.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The back cover filtered some of the light so the image will be nosier if compare to without cover. For bright day light, I don't have any problem taking good picture with our Tube. In fact, most camera phone can take decent picture without any problem. In 5800 case, bad cover design hinder the quality of picture, so Nokia should think about this and came up with new replacement for back cover. So far in, normal room light, night portrait with low iso but higher exposure give me acceptable picture with low noise. |
