tsrautostart has been present even before 4.20.20, so there's no way to be ride of it.

to make it not autorun after reboot, rename/delete cardrunner.rsc and cardrunner.dll.

and after running garmin, use killme to kill tsrautorun.

but it's doesn't affect battery as bad as on s60v3 sets, so it's up to you.

that list only got certain countries because those countries are the one that google can directly send a sms with the link to download, doesn't mean that only those countries support it.

np.. haha... let's add each other... the only reason i install google map... is because of its feature... not it's navigation... tongue.gif hahaha... anyway... it feels really great to input the address in whole... wahhaha.. the accuracy quite good..
*
yup, it's useful to search for shops with gmaps...it's more comprehensive at times than both malsing and malfree. Can access reviews directly also.

nope. Garmin can only use 1 map at a time. so if you still want to have both maps, you would have to rename one of the files. if you wanna switch, just swap the names and you're good to go
*
actually you can have multiple maps. no need to rename.

gmapprom.img
gmapsupp.img
gmapsup2.img

all can be placed in the garmin folder. to select which to use, go to manage maps->mapsource. tried and working

1 question first. Is it totally transparent at the home screen? Even at the clock area I mean. So as to facilitate better fullscreen wallpapers.

Ok tested. Bugs only report since not complete yet. biggrin.gif Still it's a great effort.

1) Front screen still has the blur at the top when using own wallpaper. It's possible to have it totally transparent, so this should be the aim imho.
2) Opaque blue screen when changing profile/receive message etc. This is a very common problem with a lot of themes out here. The solution is listed here
http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=153211
3) Battery/signal area background doesn't match menu background. Yes, it's how Carbide works, but maybe there's a way to overcome it, like some themes have? But not that big a factor really. biggrin.gif
4) Bluetooth icons appears as blue in the homescreen, but white inside the menus.
5) Since it's impossible to cover all the icons of 3rd party apps, it might be a good idea to release one with default icons too. Some default apps have no icons too. Guess more will be added in time.

The icons used are good. I really like the background during landscape mode. The digital clock is not bad already...flashy blue. biggrin.gif Battery indicators are nice and subtle. Different colours are a good idea. biggrin.gif

For those who miss the SE list of last messaged people, there's an app called TextQuick that scans through your sms and arranges the list of people u sms most frequently.

There's no S60v5 version, but the s60v3 version works just fine. And it can be set to unload itself after usage, so it's set to one of my shortcuts for quick access.

dunno why u guys so agitated....

iirc, the initial point was one guy asking which touchscreen is better, and the other guy replied truthfully that iphone was better, which is fact.

we all love our 5800, but no point getting so defensive over something that is fact, regardless of price. biggrin.gif

well, for all the points that state we shouldn't compare to iphone, there are many that do compare the iphone and 5800 in other ways.

like ridzyoo's siggy biggrin.gif
people who say iphone capacitive touch cannot use glove, lousy camera, cannot mms, cannot take video...etc etc etc...

it's kinda like us pointing at someone, but 3 fingers are pointing at ourselves, if you get what I mean. While we get pissed off at people compare how better the iphone is over the 5800, we also take the chance to state the deficiencies of the iphone.

So cannot expect everyone to not make such comparisons when some of us here are guilty as charged as well. sad.gif

Keynetik RockNScroll v1.0.4 works great for 5800. Good for people who can't get enough of the accelerometer.
