Try delete
\resource\plugins\CardRunner.rsc
\sys\bin\CardRunner.dll

for TSAUTOSTART problem.
*
That is correct, from your memory card ya!

This will stop TSAUTORUN.EXE from automatically running on it's own... It will STILL start up every time your start GARMIN XT, just use KILLME (google that) to find the process and kill it... biggrin.gif

The huge effect on batt life might NOT be present on S60v5 (what we're running on our Tubes), but an extra process running --> eat precious RAM, even more so AFTER the V20 update = so little free RAM left after reboot... sweat.gif

That's the only problem with the current version of GXT... Other then that it's fine... biggrin.gif

EDIT: Just DELETE ANYTHING from those two folders that has the name CardRunner and you'll be fine... biggrin.gif

Than how to off the Agps ... Sorry alot of question i kindy noob in GPS
*
In location --> setting I think... Advised not to turn off AGPS, ONLY NETWORK BASED... biggrin.gif

Turn off AGPS --> much slower GPS locks in all my test... Besides, 1 AGPS lock session only takes around 10-50 sens in my case (100-500KB tops)... biggrin.gif

A resounding YES... I mean, I'll die if there were no haptics on the Tube, that's how much I have grown to need it... sweat.gif

Even if it's set to the lowest to conserve batt life... brows.gif

im using dlink modem n router in 1 wireless modem...now they came out with a newer version..its jz rm2xx
*
My Fate-Tan IS my wireless modem... laugh.gif

It's asso my WIFI router-8GB NAS-Standalone Torrent Downloader-GPS-Carputer-PMP while at the same time being my primary mobile phone (have you ever talked into your 3G-WIFI router before? Feels really weird)... Not bad for a 1.3k device... brows.gif

It gets a bit warm in my pocket though (when I use it for mobile torrenting... Ah the radiation!)... The fact that SP is hot enough for bushfires to occur all around right now is not helping... sweat.gif

On the table, out in the open with adequate ventilation, it only gets slightly warm when I use it as a router-Torrent NAS, which I hope is a good thing... hmm.gif

Anyhow, anybody got linkies/evidence that car chargers are BAD? I've been using one for a while (Ori Nokia) and nothing much is happening (other then the fact that it charges slower then the wall-plug one)... hmm.gif

Review time people:

Finally got the Ted B Six Pack, it's darned small... Bad thing, dad decided to take it over with him overseas as he liked it too much... Good thing he paid for the "theft"... Now to get another one... biggrin.gif

Other then the fact that the charge wire was a bit TOO flimsy for my tastes (and that it's not made out of metal) it's perfect... Some pic porn time!

if you are on the go dont you think its troublesome 1 cable hanging from tube to another fat device.
*
Planning to mod the wire or get another longer one... The TB will hang on a belt holster... biggrin.gif

UNTIL we get a proper 3400mah extended batt for our tubies, this is the best alternative IMHO... No way will I open up the back to change batteries, too troublesome and I will lose whatever I'm working on... biggrin.gif

And seriously, heavy torrenting on your tubey? Yes you need this thing to last through a day... biggrin.gif

About the casing, I drop/torture/try to destroy by accident my electronics on a regular basis... Need protection maa... biggrin.gif

Thus the need for a very secure belt hoster... brows.gif

Like I said, heavy 3G usage? Heavy torrent leaching on the move? As long as we don't have any extended batteries (or any cases with batteries built in ala iphone cases), what to do, TB onli solution ma... sweat.gif

Quite dangerous heavy 3G will heat up battery. Then imagine 1 side charging 1 side 3G browsing heat up battery. There is a chance u will se KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM
*
LOL, very possible scenario though... Although I think before that happens my thigh will be roasted by the heat edi... sweat.gif

Truth remains that with adequate ventilation, the 5800 is actually quite efficient heat wise... My housemate use his E71 as a 3G router = overheat and die off a few times in about 3-4 hours... sweat.gif

My tubey has soldiered on as a mobile 3G-WIFI router for around 10-15 hours for each day I use it for daily broadband (another reason why I need the Ted B)... Really gotta get the RM68 package soon lar, RM6 every day is killing me softly... sweat.gif

Celcom daily berukban speed 384kbps, but some of places can get higher

If daily is 384k = 110kbps max on Symtorrent (just clocked it in yesterday), then the RM68 (384k) should be enough for me... biggrin.gif

For now... brows.gif
