Garmin Mobile XT question

i'm at the part where i just started my garmin for the 1st time. completed some configuration and now at the screen where i can select:

- Purchase and Go
- Begin Free Trial
- Enter Product Key
- Connect to a Garmin GPS

how come i can only see the "Exit" option on the bottom right of the screen?
also, which option should i select in order to obtain the "Card ID"?

V2.1 is more stable (according to i-tech) and of coz is compatible with V2.0, but no point if 5800 cant enjoy the 2.1 feature, and for ur info V2.1 bluetooth more expensive.

It should be Begin Free Trial. After that u touch the signal bars to get to see the unit id

haha dude,all the problem that ure facing its on my tube too..btw,my tube keeps rebooting frequently now..and the worst part is that the bluddy screen always turn black too..but if look closely in the screen,u can c the menu all..

I just realize my friend's 5800 comes with lots of themes and games while mine comes with only the original themes and 2 games

How come?

Your friend is an ori set as well? Wah, how come she gets more themes and games?

Well, that's what she said. She got it last month for 1400 something

With games like prince of persia loaded into it and roughly 10 themes

So I was wondering anyone else here have the same

Guys, is it just me, that i notice the 5800 screen is not perfectly flat? if you see from certain angle, you can notice the screen is not perfectly flat, there are wavey reflection on the screen. maybe due to the plastic screen casing quality ? i check my colleagues, 7 out of 7 of them, all have this issue. maybe i'm over sensitive :S

It's because of the touch screen technology used. It's a resistive type touch screen. where two layers of the screen would come in contact and calculations are made as to where the coordinates of the touch is made. The plastic of the front casing must be extra thin and flexible as to not dampen the sensitivity of the touch screen. That's why the screen is wavy.

too bad this firmware version is not yet available in the philippines? we're still on v11. is there a way to just download this patch, upload to phone & run??
