got my tp2 last week or so, after my 838pro's screen became flower-like. not bad giving a free printer though. the interface is very nice..sometimes lags a little though. flipping pics and rolling contacts using just one finger are great. but too bad they didnt put a dial for it.

anyway, i heard that it would automatically switch to landscape mode when the phone is placed horizontally. it doesnt seem to work. any idea?

Congrats on ur new tp2.. I'm still waiting for mine, bought it on-line last week.

From what I heard it would switch to landscape mode only when the keyboard is slide open. Am I right?

For those who always want the latest rom , there is a release of such in the newer units : version 1.19.707.2 can be downloaded at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=537248
The rom version on my unit before was 1.19.707.1
The whole process takes about 15+ minutes - just connect your PDA to your PC and run the "exe" file. This is a official htc asian rom so you need not perform any "hard SPL or uspl" first

Hi Guys,
want to ask if you got the same problem with me, when I make a video call, I saw myself in a very greenish backgroud. It's quite dark and sometimes I barely can see myself. Even the person from other side could not see me. Maybe my secondary camera got problem or these is common for TP2?

quite dark is because of lighting. normal, the design is such that the video camera for 3g calling isnt good in bad lighting. the greenish thing tho shudnt be

Why the Diamond2 than this?

I am currently using TP2. From the experience on the TP (My previous PDA) I would ssays the 3.6" screen make a lots of different. As for the system it shell is much stable as compare to TP. I have no regret to sold the TP cheap to trade the TP2. I currently selfdom bring my Laptop to work.... cos, my TP2 can do most of it.

I posted my video review of the cool features on the phone on Youtube. Check it out here at my YouTube channel

This is not a full technical review, but I suggest checking out a few other good YouTube reviews on MobileBurn, PhoneDog.com

I am loving this phone right now.

Yea i know Maxis is not the problem, what i am saying here is it something wrong with my TP2 reception?

ermm what do you mean by data connection? is it something wrong with data connection that causes my device failed to register on network?
