HAF ugly... sniper ok only... ATCS better looking compared to the others. down side of ATCS is the weight despite full aluminium. i think the space behind the mobo tray is kinda small... hard to hide the cables there... but there's enough space beside the PSU of the left side to hide the cables... provided its tied properly... u could hide it all there...

i would luv the ATCS.,....engineering wise
if u guys are those type of ppl who wants to put like a dozen of fan inside the case
then get HAF/sniper

ATCS but LL V1200/V2000 is the ultimate choice for me as nothing beat the fit and finish of ll case

I choose HAF. because east cable management and great air flow. Price is also good. not too expensive. ATCS is more expensive.

IF for me i choose Sniper, because price is cheaper than ACTS, nice looking, if got light it willl shine out from the whole....it is nicer, Big compare inside, got more filter than HAF, top filter can take out, from side filter easy to settle also, can support 12" GPU card, not so big like ATCS, black color........

Diff people diff taste ma...For me,sniper juz looks like a fuel tank,very special design..But a bit heavy la...

HAF look like military tower....I like it..

i also consider 3 of these casing before but end up ATCS reasons alu, with dust filters, classic=timeless, removable mobo tray, likely to get dusty inside much more slower compare to haf or sniper.

im planning to get sniper soon. (^^,) although reading this thread has not been very supportive haha

i qould wait till 21st apr and get a scout. snipers stand look like can terkepak whenever theres a small pressure put on it. and scout handle look simpler than sniper's grill.

believe me when i say this... the removable mobo tray is a life saver...

especially when ur having problems with ur rig and constantly have to remove the mobo out of the case... it makes life SO MUCH EASIER.

if i didnt have the removable mobo tray in my A10 when i had problems with my rig...i dunno la how long it would have taken to fix it up.


it also makes things easier for maintenance....like u said...can xs quickly so that you can easily remove and change parts or clean up etc.

as for price, its kinda unfair to compare prices for alu vs steel....steel is cheaper. hence the case is cheaper. u should compare the price of the ATCS with Lian Li... aluminium vs aluminium. then ull know what is overkill...some of Lian Li cases above RM1k dont even have a removable mobo tray... and only has 120mm fans.. the ATCS at least still has 3 huge fans AND A removable mobo tray....and all intakes are filtered unlike most lian lis. but Lian li build quality is definitely better than the ATCS...including my A10.

or even compare it to the TJ07.. over RM1K and only rear 92mm fans

design wise... that one is up to personal preference la...u may think what other people like is lame... other people may think wat u like is lame..beauty is in the eye of the beholder kinda thing....some like the classic and clean look... some like the colorful ah beng look.. some like the out of this world look etc etc.

i personally prefer the ATCS as i like the clean look....even my car was modded to have the clean look up to the point i removed the external antenna and covered it up, no stickers etc...

the HAF is still a good looking case...but i wouldnt wanna buy it due to the fact that its too holey. more holes = more dust. and if im not mistaken the HAF intakes are not filtered right? or am i wrong? but seriously....if the holes on the haf were all covered....then it might be something i would consider for that price range.

even the CM690 in the office oso i regret buying...too holey...have to clean up the dust way more often than id like. i even had to put a filter on my 120mm CPU HSF.

Totally support mADmAn. I'm a ATCS user. ATCS is much more better than other casing I used before. The air flow is good and easy to maintain. The classic looks that make easy to clean. Since I use ATCS, upgrading is not a hassel anymore. The space is big enuff for everything. Install a new CPU cooler oso, no need to take out mobo for back plate. HAF is a good casing oso but is not alu and only got 1 big fan. Too many celah, hard to clean. ATCS have 3 big fans, all filtered. Almost dust free inside.

ATCS saved my old GC 8800GT refrence card. Before I change to ATCS, my card temp is 90c ~ 100c, after change max 70++c only. Can u see how good is the air-flow? 3 unit - 240mm fans, 4 unit - 120mm fan not include yet the external back fan for sucking. With the removable mobo tray, make life easier. Installation is faster and easier. Some with some frens (mAdman, VT-Ten) help on the installation, one can do mobo installation, one can do drive and another cable management. D tray also make easy to clean. Who say mobo tray is hard to take out. I juz remove Sata cable, power 24 pin, 8pin, GC power 6 pin, 8 pin and front panel cable. Walah!!! is out. No need to un-screw lah, take out GC and other card.

Price for ATCS is around RM 750 only. Compare with other FULL alu casing is almost 40% cheaper. Cosmos - RM 720 (Steel), Cosmos S - RM 780 (Alu), and HAF -RM 450 (Steel and plastic). See, Who say ATCS is expensive? FYI, I brought mine 2nd looks like new is juz RM 650.

Those who haven't use before ATCS casing, try and see. Belum kena belum tahu, Sudah kena mau lagi.

Prefer to save more money, go for ATCS. additional RM 300. Wait till another month or 2 months. U will never regret.

I'm owner of HAF932 but i kinda prefer ATCS just because it has dust filter.

Need to correct you that some of your statement is wrong. HAF932 got 3 big fans, 1 at front, 1 at side, 1 at top.
And about the mobo tray, to take it out, you need unplug 5 cables just to take out the tray in order to take out few card, isn't it easier if you remove the side panel? And how you take out all 5 cables without removing the side panel at first place?

nono he means just needs to unplug those cables to pull out the mobo tray for easier access...

taking out GCs etc no need to remove mobo tray la... can take out like normal cases only.

Until now i still can't see the benefit of removable mobo tray. I prefer some space behind mobo to hide cable instead of removable mobo tray.

one benefit is that i dont have to carry the case down from the table each and every time i need to remove it.

also the fact that when installing items outside the case....u have alot more room to work with.

for me now, if a case doesnt have a removable mobo tray...i probably wouldnt want to consider buying it for personal use.

i used to not understand the benefits as well....until i got mine.

HAF932 for me,really worth it.

perhaps the next case u buy, get one with a removable mobo tray (same removable mobo tray style as the ATCS) and ull understand what i mean...i oso not sure how to tell u

I see glory in that casing.

But the weight is a problem haiz.

Bringing from KL back to Miri will be painful.

u should also take a look at the Silverstone TJ09 or TJ10.

both fits eATX and has dedicated cooling for the graphics cards...

among those e-ATX cases

u should filter those with side intake

direct air to ur vga!

I am going to get 1 if the ATCS 840 soon. Now collecting funds, the atcs is so elegant and huge. I went to 1 shop in penang and checked out the atcs, it was very awesome, better than what i expected from the reviews i saw over the internet.

If i wanna buy a case from CM, i will go for ATCS bcoz it is full allu, Reason bcoz i like allu. HAHA

btw, im thinking if for normal usage (say u hav very decent cooler for GPU/CPU/or even for RAM) why really need a case with good airflow? Coz somebody raised this issue n i was like startled, find it quite meaningful also coz unless u wan do heavy oc u need better airflow otherwise jus choose 1 which is hensem and roomy . Am i Rite? I honestly tink sniper more hensem than haf.i like the controls of fan and led too. onli if haf has the same functionalities my headache will b less aaa. but i wud buy haf932 like now running to the shop naked if it has proper dust filter to b honest. lol.

good airflow is essential....no matter wat the heatsink is... even WC requires some form of airflow.

otherwise ur most powderful heatsink is still gonna be useless coz no matter what....it still relies on airflow....if no airflow itll just keep recycling the hot air and the air will get hotter and hotter and hotter over time....leaving ur temps hotter and hotter....

so yeah....u still need good airflow...coz heatsinks perform best when they get cool air. and u cant get cool air without good air flow

Ya, i already got it.

Cable management is a headache for me for now as the casing spacious at hiding the cable is a little hard, but maybe no need to hide it just get it sleeve n tidy.....

But on a side note, it is just awesome the case as it is really a fun to work with it, the air flow is superb.......

sakurakinomoto, may be u can appreciate TJ09, it should be very good for ur setup of 3 GPU.

Else Antec 1200 also will be a good choice

or may be u could look at these too NZXT Khaos too

Haf932 is good, but lack of filter is a concern for long term use

if ACTS is still priced below 800, then its a good choice... i checked thru the price, for side transparent+black, cost around 900, not a good buy, add rm100, get myself lianli full tower ... u might wanna consider thermaltake speedo advance... between those 3, price/features, haf gets my vote... unless $ is not a concern.... sniper, i wouldnt even look at it

Currently ATCS 840 is price around RM810, price from Rock_rock. After going through so many reviews, i still will consider the ATCS840 compare to the thermaltake speedo advance.

Some says ATCS 840, some says HAF, but i read a few review that says HAF & ATCS is about the same.

the different is the aluminium or the secc steel part... that means the pricing also

own ACTS840 for few months and still loving it. especially the intake air filters. no need to mod.. imagine every 2 weeks i need to clean up the air filters which is very dusty already. can't imagine how dusty without those air filters. where i stay... air filters is a must..
