ACTS, i like Aluminium case also with the removable mobo tray its awesome~

1 thing dat i dunt understand is dat y every1 like removable tray so much?...like d 1 dat ATCS got...i know u can access yur mobo very quickly but other then dat is 4 wat?...its not dat i hate ATCS but looking at d price n comparing 2 cosmos S...totally overkill maa ...cosmos S is more suitable...unless u wanna b a showoffer...plus i dunt think ATCS is dat attractive coz...there is nothing on it dat makes it beautiful...so dats y i said in my previous post its kinda...well...lame...dats wat i think...

in my book i choose COSMOS S,Sniper n HAF932 ...sory to ATCS but...mayb next time... hehehe

personally i like HAF 932 coz even tho it has its drawbacks but its not dat major problem for me(like dust filters) ...its cheap,has high air flow,3 HUGE MASSIVE FAN!!!...hehe(being over exaggerate) n big enuff for me...sniper definately looks better den HAF 932 although both looks cool but in future will get 1...coz im planning 2 get HAF 932 1st... ...sumtimes i think sniper is a big brother to haf ...Cosmos S is truly the only ultimate choice...y?...i also dunno...hehehhehehehe....

im planning to get sniper soon. (^^,) although reading this thread has not been very supportive haha

i qould wait till 21st apr and get a scout. snipers stand look like can terkepak whenever theres a small pressure put on it. and scout handle look simpler than sniper's grill.

believe me when i say this... the removable mobo tray is a life saver...

especially when ur having problems with ur rig and constantly have to remove the mobo out of the case... it makes life SO MUCH EASIER.

if i didnt have the removable mobo tray in my A10 when i had problems with my rig...i dunno la how long it would have taken to fix it up.


it also makes things easier for maintenance....like u said...can xs quickly so that you can easily remove and change parts or clean up etc.

as for price, its kinda unfair to compare prices for alu vs steel....steel is cheaper. hence the case is cheaper. u should compare the price of the ATCS with Lian Li... aluminium vs aluminium. then ull know what is overkill...some of Lian Li cases above RM1k dont even have a removable mobo tray... and only has 120mm fans.. the ATCS at least still has 3 huge fans AND A removable mobo tray....and all intakes are filtered unlike most lian lis. but Lian li build quality is definitely better than the ATCS...including my A10.

or even compare it to the TJ07.. over RM1K and only rear 92mm fans

design wise... that one is up to personal preference la...u may think what other people like is lame... other people may think wat u like is lame..beauty is in the eye of the beholder kinda thing....some like the classic and clean look... some like the colorful ah beng look.. some like the out of this world look etc etc.

i personally prefer the ATCS as i like the clean look....even my car was modded to have the clean look up to the point i removed the external antenna and covered it up, no stickers etc...

the HAF is still a good looking case...but i wouldnt wanna buy it due to the fact that its too holey. more holes = more dust. and if im not mistaken the HAF intakes are not filtered right? or am i wrong? but seriously....if the holes on the haf were all covered....then it might be something i would consider for that price range.

even the CM690 in the office oso i regret buying...too holey...have to clean up the dust way more often than id like. i even had to put a filter on my 120mm CPU HSF.

Totally support mADmAn. I'm a ATCS user. ATCS is much more better than other casing I used before. The air flow is good and easy to maintain. The classic looks that make easy to clean. Since I use ATCS, upgrading is not a hassel anymore. The space is big enuff for everything. Install a new CPU cooler oso, no need to take out mobo for back plate. HAF is a good casing oso but is not alu and only got 1 big fan. Too many celah, hard to clean. ATCS have 3 big fans, all filtered. Almost dust free inside.

ATCS saved my old GC 8800GT refrence card. Before I change to ATCS, my card temp is 90c ~ 100c, after change max 70++c only. Can u see how good is the air-flow? 3 unit - 240mm fans, 4 unit - 120mm fan not include yet the external back fan for sucking. With the removable mobo tray, make life easier. Installation is faster and easier. Some with some frens (mAdman, VT-Ten) help on the installation, one can do mobo installation, one can do drive and another cable management. D tray also make easy to clean. Who say mobo tray is hard to take out. I juz remove Sata cable, power 24 pin, 8pin, GC power 6 pin, 8 pin and front panel cable. Walah!!! is out. No need to un-screw lah, take out GC and other card.

Price for ATCS is around RM 750 only. Compare with other FULL alu casing is almost 40% cheaper. Cosmos - RM 720 (Steel), Cosmos S - RM 780 (Alu), and HAF -RM 450 (Steel and plastic). See, Who say ATCS is expensive? FYI, I brought mine 2nd looks like new is juz RM 650.

Those who haven't use before ATCS casing, try and see. Belum kena belum tahu, Sudah kena mau lagi.

Prefer to save more money, go for ATCS. additional RM 300. Wait till another month or 2 months. U will never regret.

Lol...all come down to budget..but definitely is worth getting ATCS (i did compares to some LL models) ATCS wins in some situation..and ATCS is very gd for WC...spacious..

I'm owner of HAF932 but i kinda prefer ATCS just because it has dust filter.

Need to correct you that some of your statement is wrong. HAF932 got 3 big fans, 1 at front, 1 at side, 1 at top.
And about the mobo tray, to take it out, you need unplug 5 cables just to take out the tray in order to take out few card, isn't it easier if you remove the side panel? And how you take out all 5 cables without removing the side panel at first place?

nono he means just needs to unplug those cables to pull out the mobo tray for easier access...

taking out GCs etc no need to remove mobo tray la... can take out like normal cases only.

Until now i still can't see the benefit of removable mobo tray. I prefer some space behind mobo to hide cable instead of removable mobo tray.

try reading my post above...the one where i had problems with my rig and had to constantly remove the mobo...


one benefit is that i dont have to carry the case down from the table each and every time i need to remove it.

also the fact that when installing items outside the case....u have alot more room to work with.

for me now, if a case doesnt have a removable mobo tray...i probably wouldnt want to consider buying it for personal use.

i used to not understand the benefits as well....until i got mine.

its just that....its tough to explain... basically it has to do with convenience...

perhaps the next case u buy, get one with a removable mobo tray (same removable mobo tray style as the ATCS) and ull understand what i mean...i oso not sure how to tell u
