Lotus Charity Care Centre is an old folk’s home located on No. 41, Jalan 3A, Taman Hiok Piaw 43500 Semenyih, Selangor. This home does not have much people visiting and supporting them unlike other Charity homes and they are having a real hard time with the expenses for each month. Semenyih is somewhere after Kajang.

On the way to Seremban (highway), you can see signboards turning into Semenyih... Google shows quite clearly the location of Tmn Hiok Piaw...

People, I'm planning to put this Home to be one of our LYN CF project, since I can see the response is not bad.
Well, it will be our April or May project for sure. I will contact with the person in charge for more information!!!

charity is from the heart, it got nothing to do with religion and i'm sure whatever LYNCF plans also doesn't involve religion so rest assure

I don't know if the Home are mean for Christian or not, but I myself is not a Christian. For me, charity is nothing involving religion or races, it's all about doing things to those who need our help willingly and happily. My aim for LYN CF is to spread the love around, to help as much as we can, and to support each other. So, even if you are Muslim, you are most welcome to join in for the event

Nothing to do with Christian fellowship, it also sound impossible for me as well

As for the event, don't worry, once everything fixed, it will be up. So just be patient for now

I've contact the person in charge, there are total of 14 old folks there, I've temporary get someone to help out around for the Home.
I will still keep in touch with the Home to try my best in helping them.

Is Semenyih very far from shah alam? cause i can only get there if public transport is available Anyway, i'm just a student so i don't think i can do much on the expenses but there must be some way i can help right? How can i help?

I visited the above house last week and they are still looking for support in terms of cash and daily support after i seen this post.

Their previous house at No41 was demolished as someone initiated to build up their home but stop half way.
They are also supposed to buy the house beside No40 as they have space problem.
Currently they are renting a home nearby. They have collected around RM350K for their home.

UPDATES !!

Just to update you all that the house is currently overloaded with food, groceries and others. At the mean time, they do not have enough place to keep the items.
If anyone is going over, can consider cash donation (if they don't mind) because they are still lacking funds for their home.
