Also the same behaviour also seems to apply when searching for Music Tracks.
Some of my song tracks have very funny names, and I forget which comes first artist name, album name or song name. ohmy.gif
My N82 searches all fields, so looking up a song to play is easy. Guess I'm spoiled by Nokia haha.

It's a pretty good phone overall. Small, stylish and with a good camera. I bought it as a backup phone to my N82.
I still prefer Nokia software to Sony Ericsson software, I find Nokia Symbian more flexible.

Anyway I'm selling my W995 for cash. If you want, see my signature.

If your W995 stickers are peeling off, please get a nice casing to put it in when you carry it around. I owned a W995 for half a year and everything was almost perfect when I sold it.

Guys, I sold off my W995 a few months ago.
I missed it so much, I decided to buy a new one again.
It's a really great phone... light, stylish and functional. smile.gif

To change firmware, you need SEUS.

Can't really say because I've never hard-reset the phone. However I have upgraded the firmware before and I remember it did take a while, around 10-15 minutes.

Not sure if it'll damage your phone, but since you're not really flashing firmware it should be okay. Just test and see if anything's wrong, at most reset again. tongue.gif

I have a HTC Hero, an N82 and an N86, but I still come back to use the W995 because it's my favourite overall. It's got features of a smartphone (GPS/WLAN), an decent 8.1 MP camera and great audio quality. Also the brushed metal finishing feels much better than any of my other phones. It's so compact and light too. smile.gif

Wow you have all 3. I originally wanted the Red, but when I first purchased it only had Black available.
Then I sold off my Black phone. But missed it so much I bought another Black tongue.gif
I agree, this is the best Walkman phone SE has produced. Too bad they seemed to have stopped, not the Spyro and Zylo both suck compared to W995.

Probably you have a lot of applications installed or running.
Maybe delete SMS and useless apps to free up space and RAM.
