Yo DM!

Was nice playing with you. Had a good match with you. I think thru the whole tourney, you're the one who adapted the fastest. Your play style changed tremendously from one match to another. Gets better. I think it'd get even better if you can adept to playing on a stick. Looking forward to play with you again soon. Cheers!

Nic

Good games guys! Thanks again, Alan. For catering to us SF4 kaki. Although I came late and missed the OLD SCHOOL SF game. Peace out.

Hi mikeyyh,

I assume you were Yao Han. Nice game with you (I played Balrog against your Guile). I was the guy with the jacket to hide my protruding nipples as a result of wearing a small T-shirt. LOL!

It's always nice to see new faces especially those who play those not so common characters. Go Guile! I'll try to bring my friend, Peter back to SF4 again. He also Guile kaki, so you guys can share tips and all. Cheers!

DarkStalker,

Good game with you too. Boxer vs Boxer is definitely one of my least favorite match-up. It's like 2 loaded guns ready to blow anytime. Too damaging hence the game can turn 180 degrees anytime. Anyway, it's still much better than Boxer vs Zangief, it's like a butter knife vs a Bazooka!

Good to see Alan as a contestant in this event rather than being an organizer.

Too bad I couldn't make it in time. But when I was there and played a few casual games, I was thinking to myself "Lucky I didn't made it in time". LOL. Played a few casual games and found myself to be a totally handicapped (cacat) person. Can't do anything at all on the D-Pad. I'd be everyone's b*tch if I joined. Great outing nonetheless. And congratulations to those who won!

So leongteng5, how's the PSP weekly sharing scheduly going? This is a per suggested by Alan. LOL!

Yo!

Great games with all of you all yesterday! One of the gathering with the most people I've seen for SF4 at Outpost! Great tourney, great people and great POPCORN! Opps, I mean "Texas Showdown". Sorry Alan. Thanks everyone for the games and all! And big thanks to Alan for hosting this thing again! And Alan, we have to start to plan the next BIG SF4 tourney, at your wedding banquet in Ipoh! LOL! Sure beats the idea of having karaoke at the dinner!

Sorry I didn't get to mingle much, as I have to layan GF. LOL! A lot of new faces and very strong new players (Too bad didn't get to know or play them). A lot of great matches, and very close ones as well. The most exciting one would be the tie-breaker match for Group A between leongteng5 and Joypad-Abel-Player (sorry, I didn't get your name). DOUBLE KO!

All in all, great event! Looking forward to the next one! And a big welcome to all the new comers (new to the event, not new to the game, you guys are good!) And a big welcome to our newly migrated (migrated to KL and migrating to JOYSTICK soon) friends, Quist, Don-don (keep hearing his name being cheered while he play. LOL) and gang!

As for Shadoloo's pad, it's actually the room of one member of Shadoloo gang. It's kinda hard to stuff so many people in a room. If you guys are looking for a casual outing, what I suggest would be having it at Outpost. Just inform Alan in advance when you guys wanna go, and bring the sticks over. Just do the venue justice by ordering food and drinks there. Hey you gotta eat right?

Alan,

I suggest doing a ranking battle system. Every single tourney, record how many wins a person gets. Accumulate the points or number of wins and do a ranking chart. Simple. A win is two points just like the tourney system. Just accumulate and at the end of the year, give something to the top 3 ranking players or something. Kinda like Japan style ranking battle, I think.

And aside from that, I think its unfair for you to bear all the workload for all these events. It's relatively an unprofitable event and you're doing it for the love and passion for the SF4 community. It's just fair if we get some volunteers or committee to share the workload! And Mr Ben (aka Encik Honda) showed a great example by helping out with the scoring system at the event! Just appoint 2 person for each division (in case one of them didn't show up at the event). Two for technical stuff (Joypad pairing, joystick config etc etc), two for score taking and match making (people who are willing to get their laptop to Outpost and do proper documentations), two for setting up (these guys have to be early at the event, best if people that live near Outpost, you know who you are. LOL). My 2 cents. Let me know what you guys think.

And those I played during the casual sessions, GGs guys! leongteng5, I still dunno how to fight Gief. Can't give you a good fight. My apologies.

P/S: In case some who dunno who I am, I'm the "confusing/confused" Rufus player at the tourney with glasses and white shirt. I'm starting a charity fund called "Tabung Kebajikan PS3 Nicholas Wong". Anyone wanna contribute for the cause of charity? LOL!

Yo Grabbie!

Was using Balrog aka Boxer, but lately changed to Rufus the fat a$$. Lol. And who said you're amateur? I remember your SFZ3 Zangief and 2nd Impact and 3rd Strike Hugo. Just what we need, another Gief added to the group! Lol!

Show yourself at the gatherings la! Call Desmond or myself. We hook up and have offline session. Still got my number right?

ALAN!

Suggestion!

Let players or contestants use alias or nicknames! More glamour that way! Like Japan or the States! You register their real name and also the nickname! I think that way more gaya!

I think rawfish is not participating. He's helping out. I will be helping out as well if I can make it in time. Working on Saturdays make me miss a lot of major tourneys. Sigh.

LOL @ senzr, you got your own cheap ass tricks as well!

Your dog slobbers over my leg and seemingly bump my joystick when you're losing; I don't think that's a co-incidence!

btw, that bracket will be more interesting to watch, we don't need no stinkin' announcers/commenters, we're doing live commentary while we play the match.

Opps... better don't offend the announcers. He's Mr RYU himself. Later he SRK your ass from behind.
