I've found some interesting pics of some randam Japanese guy modding his T4/T5 stick as well. With Sanwa parts. Looks relatively simply, but involves a soldering iron and a dremel. The link is as follow. Hope it's useful to you.

Thanks for the link.I'll check it out.

Dear all,

The tournament this time will be in single contestant format. This is because of short time period of notice and I can only do the TAG team on the next tournament. More over, ALOT of pro players cant make it...so for those who are new to SF4...here is your chance to win something.

Prizes is something not small...at least a PSP...for the first prize.

Those who are selling their sticks usually have more than one sticks. Modding sticks its a kind of Art and Skill + Hobby ( for some )

but you can't always mod your own sticks..so they buy new sticks and mod it until perfection..sell for pride..

its like selling Art paintings.. the artist just like to draw and people tend to buy.

but if you want to DIY, then you should buy standard sticks, and mod it yourself, and go find your fav artwork and replace it your self...but it is not as easy as you imagined... those who are serious have a tool box and the tool box alone is bigger than the HRAP3.

leave it to the professionals.

go look for Professor-RAWFISH.. who holds a PHD for modding sticks.

I love arcade sticks and the way they respond to every single input press. They allow us to perform techniques and combos which are near impossible on a regular pad. Nowadays when at arcades I'll just stare at the machine panels and wonder what parts the cabinet is using. After winning the round I'll still keep tapping the buttons like playing a piano. I'll look at Autopay machines and wonder how responsive their buttons can be if switched to Sanwa or Seimitsu. I keep double-tapping the blue LED button multiple times when I enter the Cineleisure carpark...

Confess it, you guys DO think of these things too right!

Amen dude, we here got a machine in the Arcades using a PS3 emulator. Too bad for the stick and controls as the stick IS Sanwa but was already years on wear and tear. The buttons also was like hard and sharp on the edges and those buttons can't work for me sweat.gif

Still, would go there show face and play there just for the fun of being in the arcades biggrin.gif

Random link dumps :

http://www.round1.sg/ - A guy I met on GGPO that runs a fighting game website in Singapore. Come on guys, I'm sure most of us are tech-savvy enough to at least run a forum? If necessary, I'll create a sub-main hosting a forum/CMS on one of my good friend's website(suggested - techthrow.eatnplay.com.my)... or even better, techthrow.outpost.com.my? *hint hint, Alan...*

Suggestions for website name, maybe? I don't mind doing the templates and set-ups for the website (Help would be appreciated as well).

http://www.youtube.com/atatashai - Some singapore tourney videos. Also, Shen Yu @ Round1.sg suggested that we should go down to Singapore for some matches, and perhaps some of them come up for matches as well. Anyone?

Arcade button mods :
http://www.djtechtools.com/2009/06/22/more-arcade-buttons
http://techtools.myshopify.com/products/arcade-buttons

I tinker around with DJ equipments at my free time, and come across this mod; interesting usage of arcade buttons. They're even selling the Sanwa buttons at their site biggrin.gif. I suppose the buttons for music equipment needs accurate, minimal input time, and Sanwa buttons fits this need perfectly.

P.S. Do add me to your MSN : jirwong@gmail.com smile.gif
