Thanks for coming to the Gathering and played some SF4. Thanks to those who travel far too. And for the new comers, THANKS so much for making it today and it was nice meeting you all and had great time playing few matches...

WIll organize more and perhaps - there is request for a 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 tag team matches too. BEAT THE CRAP out of KOF. hahaha I am still in the mist of terror from KOF XII HA for those who left early, I bought Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe and we played a few rounds too. Pretty fun though compared with KOF

Or we should also start OUR VERY OWN SF T SHIRT and everytime someone win the mini tourney, he gets a small badge. And he can hook on his Tshirt everytime we meet . The more the badges is the more rank he got...hows that?

Dont think negatively...the badges actually gives more confident to those who want to WIN !!! Street Fighter is not a game for quitters. If you think you are a NOOB then you will forever be one...Thats why we held the gathering to help everyone to be a better Player. NOT JUST THAT, we also give out badges to those who organzed or achieve something outside as long as its SF related. Rules and Terms will be out soon.

Its Like a MEDAL wore by militaries...to those who didnt receive one. Does that mean they didnt go to war? Think about it...

HAHAHA thats why I am planning for giving out badges for those who helped and for those who achieve more with SF4 ...the more badge you have the higher reputation you get...ill explain more when i draft it out...

And yes my Wedding dinner with Sakura AKA Chun Li ...Any ideas?

Actually...any one can DO THE STREET FIGHTER 4 EVENT. The game title belongs to CAPCOM or should I say Alpha Oriental ( if they are still holding the title ) and eventually Sony is the only company for the time being has the equipments to run the SHOW. If you have Phillips or Samsung counter part who are willing to organize a tournament to promote their LCD...they are welcome too. Just talk to Outpost Events personel. Cause to be frank, I dont think most organizers knows WHAT SF4 is and how to run a fighting game tournament. I am sure by now, we have witness our local capacity. For the time being We at OUTPOST Events are very well versed with the Tourney Mechanisim.

Thanks to people like you guys who shared so much and probably I am too a SF fan myself. All we do at Outpost Events is to provide the BEST EXPERIENCE in SF World and specially provide international feel in tournaments and so on.

If there is any people or organisation who want to run a STREET FIGHTING TOURNAMENT, please let us know as we will be there to provide tips and services.

Oh, to those who are STILL USING PADS - GO GET A STICKS !!! I have seen many people uses the PADS efficiently, but it will be even better if you can do the same with the STICKS. Who knows if there is an international TOURNAMENT in near future and you could be the next guy representing MALAYSIA !!!

TEKKEN 6 is coming soon and YOU CANT EXECUTE most move with PADS....

And if you really love pads....PLAY MORTAL KOMBAT vs Dc Universe...thats a game for PADS...

So planning for some STREET FIGHTING EVENT THERE...and we dressed as RYU and CHUN LI that night...something like that...

Thanks BRO...but CREDITS mostly to you guys too. It was you gusy with the PASSION that kept the SF4 ALIVE. People like you who take pics, videos, post it up online... people like RAWFISH who MOD sticks and supply for friends and us, People like AIMAN who shared with their friends, Micheal who inspired us with Abel, BEN using Ehonda, Nicholas with his supportive GF, Mikee with his Ryu...Friends from Penang, Ipoh woah and many more ... Oh and Of course, OUR EVER PORPULAR Chun Li Catherine with her TEXAS SHOWDOWN ( Next round I will prep some SNACKS for you all TOO )

It clearly shows how much we love the game and how Malaysian FANS willing to keep the game ALIVE and it will be a BIG mistakes if sponsors dont see this.

I remembered, the first time when RAM entertainment ( the people who brought you Legend Of Chn Li ) approached me and ask if we are interested to do the SF events. I said YES to my team immediately without thinking any further. I knew this title will be a GREAT title to work with and it will be a PLUS CREDITY in my portfolio.

However, all sponsors and other partners was SO SLOW - they eventually provide us details at the very last minute. And GREEN LIGHT for the tournament was also a last minute thingy. Otherwise It could be better.

Our proposal wasl submitted 3 months PRIOR before the tournament and was given green light 1 week before the tourney. SO you gus know now how unforseen they were during that time and I was so scared that it will not work. Another issue - Legend of Chun Li suck big time and afraid it will screw up the events too. So things we said and done and we go ahead with the tourney. 1 Week for people to sign up. I week before the tourney I post this Thread.

My main DREAM was to BRING back all the top pleayers from Sungei Wang - For those who lived that era...we are all top notch fighters in SW and I really missed everyone. Although I hardly joined you gus during those days...but I do know most of the people there knows my cousin MAK KIEN LEONG ( previous SF runner up in Cineleisure )

And here you guys are. Everyone is back...I remembred all of your faces...eventhough we grew a little old. I fought with RAWFISH before ...when I was young and got trashed badly in SFzero2 ...dont think if he remembers it. It was a Sunday evening ...I used to hang there every sunday morning till evening...sometimes with MAK...thats where I know a guy named LOOK CHI KAM MO ( a guy with 6 fingers who is so good with Rolento ) There are still some of us who plays SF alot...and hopefull we can get them together for another TOURNEY...and thats why the prevous TOURNEY IS CALLED : ARE YOU STILL A STREET FIGHTER !!!

I am sure, with the support from you all...we will do better. Now...seriously, I am planning to bring Gamers Hidout into the show somehow. They have been very Generous and a very close friend of mine. Even the prizes was spomsored by GH during the first tourney...

They didnt ask for anything in RETURN and has been supporting us. Remember all those PS3 GAMES prizes? COntrollers? Those ARE FROM GAMERS HIDEOUT !!! There is some issue where we are not allow to show their name on the tourney...a little not fair though.

Probably - the next tourney, we DO IT AT GAMERS HIDEOUT front shop. And we also close a section for us where we do CATERING THERE? Buffet style while we fight? Or have a buka PUASA event or RAYA ]FIGHT...many stuff in my head now...

I SERIOUSLY thank all for making my long time dream a success. I couldnt achieve it with out you guys.

Ok, I will talk to GH tomorrow and see if we can RUN SOME STREET FIGHTING FOR XBOX FANS ..if they can have CAPCOM vs SNK then we can also have PS3 Vs Xbox360...both console people play the same.

Cause we will be using sticks....then we will have 2 console...1 xbox and 1 ps3...we can all do it at OUTPOST TOO...

Dear All,

We have been given green light by Sony to run the tournament this weekend ( SAT 15th August 2009 ) and here is the terms and conditions:

DATE: 15th August 2009
Registration time : 12pm onwards
Tournament Starting time: 2pm ( if there is no issue )
End time: Approx 8PM
Tournament MODE: Group Match - Top 2 or 4 of each group face each other in knock out stage.

Tournament Module: STICKS AND PADS


1) Tournament registrations start at 12pm

2) Tournament starts approx at 2pm

3) Participant can choose to take part in either PADS or Sticks ( please bring along your own sticks and pads.)
Depending on turnout, players will be split to groups, pad-specific or stick-specific ones. E.g. Groups A to F will be
for pad players, Groups G onwards for stick players.

4) All sticks configuration is SET TO ARCADE STYLE

5) All PADS configurations can be CUSTOMED, HOWEVER - There shall
NO 1 button FOCUS ATTACK and 1 Button for THROW.

6) Contestant is advise to bring their own PADS and STICKS. We will
provide PADS but do not complaint if PADS is over used.

7) All contestant is NOT ALLOW to change their selected CHARACTER
from their FIRST MATCH.

8) All characters is allowed to used by players. NO handy cap is allow.

9) Game mode will be:
Group Stage: 99 Seconds Best of 3 Rounds.
Knock Out Stage: 99 Seconds Best of 5 Rounds

10) Contestant is not allow to let others play for you.

11) If there is a scenario of a TIE, a rematch in BEST of 3 rounds will be
played.

12) The FINALS will be played in 5 rounds and results are final.

13) All contestant is to be at the GAME AREA during the competition and
will be disqualify if we call your name 3 times.

14) Contestant must wear your TAGS at all times.

15) Only contestant is allow to be in the tournament AREAS.

16) Anyone who caught swearing will be disqualify.

17) Anyone who pressed the HOME button twice will be disqualified.

18) Contestant shall follow every instructions given by the organiser and
we reserved the rights to disqualify and contestant without giving
any reason.

19) Anyone caught custom the PADS or STICKS not following the actual
designated custom will also be disqualified.

20) The organisers reserved the rights to pospone, change of prizes and
reschedule the tournament or alter the terms and rules of the
tournament at any time.

21) ENJOYING YOURSELF IS A MUST !!!

SPECIAL NOTE:

We assume that there will be less STICK players compared to the PADS and therefore, STICKS group matched will be played in more rounds. Example: 1 group 4 contestant. SO each player has to fight 3 matches to gain the highset score. So for Sticks, the need to fight 6 rounds. Meaning fight with the same contestant twice. We will also spread them into more groups in order to have a balance in Knock out stages.

Reason for us giving sticks a different ruling is to have a fair fight for PADs contestant too as they need to fight more to qualify.

Ok - Here is what i think about the RAPE thingy....

Akuma RAPES everyone... Zangief love the smell of peoples balls ( see it when he do the Pile Driver...but if you guys notice Vega...he grabs everyones chest when he do the Bone crusher...specially females...I was using Vega againts C viper last night ( playing with Rawfish ) ... I saw Vega grabbing her BREAST !!!
