Hi there. I need some help in overclocking my pc. As I'm a noob in overclocking that is why I need to get some guide from all the gurus here. I hope someone out there can give me a step by step guide. The following is my pc hardware that I'm using.

Intel E8400 processor
Asus P5QL Pro Mainboard
2GB Kingston DDR2 800Mhz RAM x 2
iCute case with stock power supply (450W)
and the processor heatsink and the rest are also stock

I hope someone here can give me a very detail guide in overclocking my pc. Please let me know if there's something I need to upgrade for better stability.

Many thanks.

Hi thank you for the fast replies to joe_star and cloudwan. Just now I tried to increase the fsb from 333mhz to 400mhz and PCIE from auto to 100mhz. After that I tried to test it with Prime95 and supervise the temp with coretemp. While the test is running, the temp went up to 71 Celsius. I think that is very hot then I shut it down. Am I doing the right thing? Actually I did quite alot of research in google like what joe_star said but those guide are not detail enough for me as I am really a noob in such thing. Hope to get more guidelines. By the way, any specific model of hsf and cooling system to recommend me? Thank you.
