most people does not need cameras that has more than 5mp...seriously it's a marketing gimmick that an 8mp is better than 5mp.
there's no need for an 8mp camera if the quality is still lacking...

quality is much more important than MP count..

for a graphic designer like me, i do need both quality and MP count as a higher mp camera makes larger pictures and i can easily use these large pictures for large scale prints like large banners and billboards.

yeah i agree...

there might be more problems with the 12mp camera if:

1. it uses the same sized sensor ( no point increasing mp count )
2. it has a higher compression rate because of the size of the pic


and for a phone...the above problems are usually there... they wont use a DSLR sensor on a cameraphone..it would be much much more expensive..even if it's possible

maybe it'll be in the range of rm2800+??

Added on February 20, 2009, 2:14 amthat's y nobody can still say iphone killer... iphone is still the killer phone eventhough it has 2mp camera...but the most most nicest thing about iphone is the touchscreen and if idou can replicate this kind of touchscreen it could be an iphone killer.. and also keep in mind that the OS is also important.. win mo vs s60 vs whatever else..

yeah i do agree. the most important thing is to make sure u take caution whenever u are using a phone regardless whether it is expensive or not, like when u r talking on a phone, using/typing on a phone, even the pockets u put your phones in..
