Is it possible to connect my wii to a monitor instead of a tv ?
and if yes, what kind of cable can i use ? i'm a noob in computer stuff ..

Im using Vdigi cable for Wii , You need to on the pc to use the Wii connected to ur monitor (but im not too sure cos my pc is on 24/7) lolx

Vga converter u can find in most of any console shops , or lowyat plaza , or even in LYN garage sales ....

But errr as i did mentioned earlier last time in Nintendo thread one of the topics
The Vga converter without component output , its very very very blur , so blur u feel like smashing ur Wii ... terrible output display OR maybe its the VGA converter i got ... i guess its about the same if the output doesnt has component output...

Theory = SUper blur till macam Double image

Whereas im using this now Vdigi cable specially made for wii > monitor ... its 99.999% superb clear

i was in maplesea since 2002 .. i muz agree its a very addictive game .. no day no nites .. hehehe
but officially quitted now .. private server ruined it all
