My n82 earpiece got problem, cnt hear anything even vol level set to max. Try to clean (tiny hole) from dust but didnt help. I suspect earpiece is damage. Anybody has replace that earpiece? How much it cost u..

red light helps to focus for u at night picture
also helps to reduce red eye effect when u take pic with a xenon or you'll look like devil's side kick with red eye

well this n82 model was created in 2007 so no doubt it's outdated.
a lot of ppl are pursuing for touch screen like 5800 but for me, touch screen hasn't reached the best level yet. Probably wait for the next 3 years for it to improve more.

just get a rubber cover if you scared your either way of your phone is scratch. Think this way, you want to prevent your silver cover to be scratch but you sacrifice your LCD screen to be scratch =.=.

yeah~~5800 so far just the 1st or the second touchscreen phone...a lot of things haven't stabilize yet...i still can't ensure that 5800 is the best touchscreen phone...maybe there still some advance for the coming touch screen phone...Keep Improve Nokia!!

my n82 i think has a problem, im using garmin xt, latest version, and my GPS signal always very low, is this the problem with satellite or my phone? im in kuching sarawak.

The red light is the auto focus assist light.
When the surrounding area is too dim, the camera cannot focus properly, so the red light come on to assist in focusing.
If the area is bright enough, the red light will not turn on.

Any1 know what way to turn off n82 camera shutter sound ? Its very annoying sometimes even though u r on silent mode but there is stil a capture tone.

need to crack the phone 1st to unable the camera sound...u all can go and ask Mr. Google... Not suitable to discus here..

set screen rotation to off in tools > settings > general > personalisation > display
