QUOTE(PaiGeWonG @ Jun 18 2009, 08:00 PM) i just tried grand Slam tennis Actually... without motion plus. I must say u have to really really SWING UR ARMS and not like WII SPORTS tennis is just move arms or wrist also it detects. Well without motion plus , i guess the char reacts abit slow on detecting ur different swings like .. LOB , DROPSHOT, SMASH , SLICE. My overall experienced without m+ is for these different shots You really need a m+ to work it correctly But normal flat shots like forehand and backhand is ok works great without M+ LOB=Press A during swing DROPSHOT=Press B during swing Swing UP=Top Spin Flat Swing=Normal Ball Swing Down=Slice Ball(Curve Ball) Without M+, the angle of the ball is similiar to Wii Sport Tennis, no need to concerned about forehand and backhand(but u can act) With M+, the angle of the ball is depend on ur arm direction, like real tennis/badminton For Wiimote only, u can press D-Pad for character movement...or else u can use nunchuk also... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyone interested in wifi, we can add and play...EA Server is fantastic... My Username: wtwang81 After registered ur username, go to this website to change ur profile country... EA Account Manager Grand Slam Tennis has Worldwide Ranking and Points System(like MKWii), everytime connecting to EA Lobby, we can see how many ppl are wifi... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After playing a few days, Grand Slam Tennis is the best tennis game in Wii now. The gameplay mechanic is based on Wii Sport Tennis, and it is for sure that this game is realistic than Wii Sport Tennis(the flow of ball is not realistic) Hope everyone enjoy... QUOTE(PaiGeWonG @ Jun 19 2009, 03:35 AM) lol yah second try just now , as u mentioned. I will add u tonite... But i really sux at it for the moment. anyway this is my EA id PaigeWii And ... refer to post 1 for all our EA usernames The more the merrier ! Any lagging issue online u tried with Gst? i havent try online with it yet but as ive tried FIFA 09 wii EA online too... theres lagging For the wifi, overall is smooth, sometime it has a little bit of lagging but it wont affect the match at all... the problem is malaysia internet connection is worst... QUOTE Well if Paige or Wang can try VT2009 then we can get a comparison review from them rolleyes.gif From what i can tell, VT2009 doesn't use buttons which i think should be the way to play fully simulated tennis. From what I researched from internet review by users, VT2009 gameplay can make ppl frustated a bit... The speed of the ball is very fast compare to GST. Everytime we swing, it has a angle bar on top of the player. And that is very frustated and hard to focus angle of the ball u want while running across the whole tennis court... and somemore framerate issue... By the way, GST and VT2009 are very good tennis game in Wii...but for me, I will stick with GST 1st...coz EA wifi is damn addicitive... This post has been edited by wt_wang81: Jun 19 2009, 01:12 PM |

QUOTE(chicaman @ Jun 19 2009, 10:05 PM) Tested the game, basic controls can be done without using Motion Plus. You can do it...the learning curve is deep...take time... However the controls definitely isn't great. CPU can do some crazy shots with backhand smash and I don't know what is the problem but most of my shots is out! |

QUOTE Takes a long time to load LOL! Are you sure GST Loading time is long, i watched VT2009 youtube clip, the loading is longer than GST a lot... For everyone that play GST, I recommended u all use nunchuk for movement... although it is a bit hard initially, after u master the skill, it is easy to play...coz u know la, the NPC movement is slow... P/S: Paige, u keep disconnect... This post has been edited by wt_wang81: Jun 19 2009, 11:43 PM |
